    My Samsung 4K UHD TV developed flickering black bars in the middle of the screen, and as it goes it started 3 months after my warranty expired.
    Samsung said its out of warranty and I need to pay out-of-pocket to fix it.
    It's frustrating how the TV's cant even last an year nowadays..

    I "fixed" mine by watching YT "local dimming test". This causes to restart or power off my QLED byself after running that video for 1-5 sec. After run it 2-3 times, it flicker less for some time. One day it stop flickering at all. I losed local dimming zones, but I do not care. I have fully working TV now. If Your TV switch off while watching YT "local dimming test", try mine steps. I run it 2-3 times every day for about 2 weeks. Anyway, never ever samsung.

    Usually when tv experience this sort of error. It's not that expansive to fix it if you can find decent person to do it. I my self know something about fixing these kinds of problems, and in my experience it's usually either one of the display cables, T-Com board or backlights. And if you contact Samsung for any of these problem most of the time they will charge you way to much to fix it. Or they will tell you it's not fixable while in reality you can fix it for few hundred bucks or even less then that and sometimes you can fix it by just cleaning internal parts of the tv. So the moment warranty expires is actually not because the rigged it in some way but actually because Samsung and many other companies use so many cheap parts in their TV's, and these are the parts that can only last for a year or two max. So that's the real reason they do it because it gives them approximate time of when you are going to return to their store asking for repairs or even buying a new tv.

      The ridiculous thing is, they offering you trade in program. this is sign that they hope you back again to buy their product at certain time. Mostly around 2-3 years, if you are out of luck about past of a year just when your warranty were end.

    because they are not just selling the product, but they also open bussiness for repairing. So their product will broke when it comes the end of warranty. • @bespoke2030
      @bespoke2030 Год назад

      The TV will not break itself because of warranty and the parts are not made to break by themselves in a certain amount of time. These theories do not make any sense at all. Some people just want to find a way to blame someone else. Some cars last 250,000 miles and someone else may have the same car and it has issues right at the beginning. No hardware, electronics are 100% going to work there is a probability that there is failures with any and EVERYTHING.
