Love your stuff man. Have been away from ue a while and just came back to see ue5 available and I was like "well I know to go to pinkpocket" 😂 keep it up
For all of you who have problems importing the mountains. I did to and I solved it like this: Download the file, zip it open, open the mountains in a new unreal project. When it's open, right click on it in the content browser and click asset actions, migrate. click ok when the asset report pops up, find the location of the project you want to import it into, place it in that projects "content" folder. And then you should be able to open it in your mountains in your project.
Thank you for this video! A quick note for those who couldn't find the Render Movie Settings like me: In the Sequencer, click the 3 dots to the right of the render icon (Render Movie Options). Select Movie Scene Capture (Legacy). Click the Render button. This will open the Render Movie Settings.
It's great, man. A few days ago, I started working with Unreal Engine. It's very amazing, and I began with this video. It's beneficial, and I hope you continue to upload more videos like this that are simple to learn from, making it easier to enter the Unreal Engine world and grasp the ideas quickly
A huge thank you! You are literally saving my channel and the way I wan to take it to make original imagery for all my music after being demonetised for using other peoples images on my music.
Thanks, great video, as for saving AVI, if you set compression to 0, you get uncompressed AVI, which is as good as a sequence of PNGs, also, you get more rendering options if you use the new method, but my guess is that you already knew that but went the easy way for the tutorial. 👍
My guy, your tutorials are great! Simple, efficient and easy to follow. It's awesome how by following along, I can have a dope scene within 15minutes. Thank you! Keep them up! I'm learning a ton! 🖤
Imagine In the future we have the ability to program unreal engine 80 to construct an earth simulation for historical learning. (Perhaps we are in that now, self aware)

Unreal5 preview 2 goes crazy.I upgraded my disk and get some space with the newest version.Same scene looks totally different, everything in preview 2 has got so much better quality.Volumetric cloud already has cinematic feeling, the grass shining on the landscape and Lumen is another level now.And I like the UI a lotttttt!
How did you download it? I can't see the download link in Epic Games Launcher... All I see in the top right is the option to open the Early Access version 0.0.5
Go to the launcher and in the unreal engine tab add a new version to download. Then select UE5 Preview 2. Note that this is considered as a different version and it’s not a direct upgrade to UE5 Early Access versions. That is why you don’t see it there.
This is new Era of Unreal Engine... Dreaming about Add plugin to generate maps like in World Machine... but Megascans in good hands are incredible ...!

@@pinkpocketTV You're welcome. By the way. I run into some problem regarding the project file when I opened it. It says "Video memory has been exhausted...Expect poor performance." Thanks for watching! And yes that gpu is not intended for this stuff. I have a GTX 1060 6GB GPU and UE5 still runs a bit slow and crashes a lot. I think you need at least 8GB of GPU RAM for UE5 because of the high res megascan textures. The 2060/3060 is the best value now in my opinion.

Nice tutorial, but how do we add the mountains folder? It would have been nice if you had shown that part, cause I can't follow along past the foreground part.

I really appreciate your choice of 24 frames/second, it's really unusual, people have a fixation for 60fps, I don't know your choice behind it but somehow it pays homage to the beauty of cinema, which worked perfectly fine with 24fps. Cheers from italy buddy, great video 🙂
