Thanks Derisley 👍
Now you've mentioned that pothole Bill, we'll see how long it takes the council to remedy it. Your previous references to 'Pothole Street' got some action ...... eventually! I suspect the slippage will be covered with retaining mesh as they've done above Parsons Tunnel so they are drilling some very deep holes for the anchor rods.
Yes, wish I had caught it on camera - Car wasn't going fast, so it was quite a fright to hear the noise of the front bumper catching! Guy didn't seem to care though and drove straight off. Yes, I expect that netting will be installed too 👍👍👍
I’ve been down that pothole in my truck, didn’t see it until I was on it , luckily having a big vehicle I didn’t bottom out.
Nice to hear about the sea view, they actually do liver and bacon, which is one of my favourites lol
Big day tomorrow, favourite class of diesel locomotive , grew up with them in Dawlish, so I’m mega excited. I heard the Mayflower steam locomotive broke down yesterday, but they are fixing it and should be with us also tomorrow.
Great video as usual
Andy
Excellent - I'll be looking out for you at Sprey Point 👍👍👍
@@BillsPhoneTeignmouth I’ll be there 👍
Hi Bill, I'm surprised that the mini managed to get out of that pothole. Lovely walk today, almost an around the water's edge film with the town thrown in to boot. See you later mate.
It made a heck of a noise! Made me jump! lol - Cheers Rob 👍
Wow the Ness looked so different before the foliage overwhelmed it - like a big wedge, or even a massive quiff! Enjoyed the walk today, cheers 😎
Maybe there was a major cliff fall before that photo. There are many old photos and drawings that appear to show the cliffs grazed but the Ness is way too vertical for that.
Yes, sometimes I see what looks like a giant chicken sat on the top of the ness - I can make out its body wings, neck and beak - Once you see it, you cant unsee it! 👍
@@johnclements6614 ah, ok, that makes sense. It's such a dramatic feature, must have changed a lot over the years
@@JamWillDo Certainly, things change. south of Ness beach there used to be restaurant / bar on top of the cliff. I think it closed before WW2.
@@johnclements6614 I've seen the photos of that on here, Ness and the beach is one of my favourite spots, it's fascinating, cheers
Hi Bill, nice walk & quite a few people out & about. Shame about the demolition site, what are they going to build there ???? . Hope all went well with your Hba1c and other diabetes checks.
Hi Linda - Its for the new toilet block - But its all been 'frozen' as the last town clerk (now retired) didn't file planning permissions, so the site is 'Stopped' at the cost of £300 a day to the contractors, for being unable to work! - Yes, all seemed fine with Diabetes checks thanks 👍👍
Another good day for u tomorrow western champion just after 12pm before that just after 11am mayflower steam loco.the engine failed at Shrewsbury Thursday but it came past newport at 1pm today so I say it's fixed
Yup, gonna catch both of those - Caught the Pullman earlier today - Will catch its return later and upload this evening 👍👍👍
Seen it nice vid
Great walk did you know the Teignmouth camera at the back beach is back online? Lovely sea wall walk 9 trains is tidy very good and crossover if only those men wasn't there lol
No I didnt know about the back beach cam - Since I stopped subscribing to them (When they became Coast Cams) I haven't really looked at the site - So much other stuff to do - This channel takes up nearly all of my spare time - But I'm not complaining! Cheers Sion 👍
@BillsPhoneTeignmouth i just watch them on RUclips now as its better then there silly coast cams site. It used to be so easy to use but now its not, i liked it when site was new coz people would talk in it but people don't know how to use it no more so i think everyone goes on the RUclips
Good advice about sending things off Bill, I’ve had it happen to me where the box was damaged at the other end. I always keep my Wind blocker on my microphone, I don’t find it does anything to the sound, but you never know when you’re going to get that sudden gust and having to re film lol. What was that speed camera van hopping to catch, a rogue seagull lol. Great video.
Hello Bill great walk thank you . Pleased your coat has arrived . Ooh sausage egg and chips sounds good to me thats my dinner sorted😋lovely walk along the sea wall and quite a few trains especially the happy ones I'll be off for today Bill see you tomorrow stay safe ❤😊xx
Obviously after the mechanical falcon.
Cheers Keith - Yes, I normally keep it on these days - Except when its the trains going past - Max volume for them 👍👍👍
Thanks Pam - Yes, cant go wrong with good old Sausage Egg & Chips - See you tomorrow 👍
