The creators wanted korrasami. But nickelodeon didn't really wanted that. They just allowed only holding hands in the last scene of season 4. They just wanted one season of korra. And then they tried to destroy korra. Giving the show bad playtimes and no spots of the next seasons.

I actually liked that they didn't kiss. In my opinion the look on their face and the way they held hands said more than any kiss could ever have. But maybe I am biased because it would make it seem atla all over again and a bit over the top mainstreamlike

I understand that in the show they didn't show much of there feelings toward each other, and I wish they did, but do you really think that Nickelodeon would have taken a gamble to include noticeable hints towards homosexuality throughout the show. Sooner or later people would complain about how there is gayness in a kids show.(Sponge Bob went through something like this on the first couple of days it aired, Sponge Bob's character came of as gay to some people, which almost got the show canceled for a bit)Very happy and was pleasantly surprised that they ended it the way they did, but also upset because I didn't see it coming. Perhaps in the LOK comics coming out we will see there feelings toward each other really show.

I mean... how things went with aang en katara was childlike, makorra was teenage like, but korrasami, I found that one of the most believable romances I have ever seen in a series. They weren't like: hey you are perfect! Oh no there's struggle! But in the end we are together finally! Instead of those obvious things and unrealistic scenarios, they chose for a way more beautiful approach in my opinion. (for example when asami brings tea, korra says: You're so sweet. Instead of that's sweet.

From 0:04 - 0:30 it shows how much their relationship changed with each other over the seasons. With book 1 being awkward around each other to book 4 ending with each other at the end.
Wow that is absolutely amazing I wish the show could go on on Netflix. It's such a great universe. I also think that it's good that they didn't show too much feelings towards eachother, their relationship seems so much more real and not forced.
