Is that what those were? I thought maybe crew cars for long distance freights, like you see here in Australia, one or two passenger coaches behind the locomotives for crew to sleep in between shifts, rotating between different crews on the train I believe.
Come on down, you'll enjoy it. Besides the bridge action, can travel 20 miles south to Keokuk, see the tows go thru the Lock. With the new restaurant opening on the riverfront, great ring side seats, for bridge and river action
Well done to the 3 from Buffalo, braving the snow at the Horseshoe Curve like that. Burlington @06:50, the footage of the CN Train crossing the Bridge was good, nice colours and shading and reflections, thanks VRF.
Nice lash up with EMD high hood in original paint, nice catch on meteor, great looking new BNSF GE power, like the Leslie air horn on CSX Law Enforcement GE, lots of camp car's and slack action!🛤🚂
I wonder if Virtual Railfan will get some grab bag shots on monday related to the eclipse, as I'm certain that some of the cameras are in it's totality path. Maybe some of you watching in those areas can make the grab bag while watching the eclipse, so don't forget to wave "Hello" to us. Edit: 11:15 I figured that the NS Conrail heritage unit in Cordele would make the grab bag.
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains, especially the Heritage Units, railfans, including Star Wars disguise in Folkston, Georgia, and so much more, I like them, @Virtual Railfan, thank you very much.
That was the Golden Swoosh in Wichita at 7:58--cool! Loved the opening shot of train and blossoming tree, the old couple waving, the raccoon (of course), the old auto, the brand-shiny-new engines, the bolide, and especially the ending. Such pretty work you guys do!

Another nice Grab Bag. Thanks VRF. I know this takes a lot of work. I'm curious about the CP camp cars. Is that multiple camp car sets being delivered? Others on the comments echo what I thought, and that it looks too big a consist to use on one project. Any information that can be provided much appreciated. Keep up the good work. RP/Chicago.
9:49 Been on lots of those new ET44ACHs and ES44ACHs, they are very quiet, they are not amazing at moving things unless its on flat track. The stairs are way too steep and they are very cheaply built. thanks BN.
I see a lot of CSX Transportation Passenger cars on VRF. Starting @ 2:07 I count 14 cars, CSX says they have no passenger service, but they are used for transporting personnel from location to location. Any truth to that?
Looks as though all of the corporate big wigs from the BNSF & CSX Head Shed's are all taking their corporate coaches to the NCAA Final Four this weekend !
Hey, I made the Grab Bag this time!! 😂
It looks like Canadian Pacific takes good care of their track workers. Those camp cars were some of the newest cars I have seen on any railroad.
Is that what those were? I thought maybe crew cars for long distance freights, like you see here in Australia, one or two passenger coaches behind the locomotives for crew to sleep in between shifts, rotating between different crews on the train I believe.
My wife and I are going to Fort Madison in June. Looks like an awesome place to watch trains. Thanks.😎
Get a room at the Kingsley Inn. Great old hotel with huge rooms and the old world feel.

Excellent. I really enjoyed it. Thank you VR.
Thanks 🎉 great grab bag guys
Lovely outro, that BNSF exec train seemed out of the region in Austell, Ga...thanks VR.
Was thinking the exact same thing. I wonder what it was doing all the way down there
@@Wyvvyrn It was visiting Augusta, GA for The Masters golf tournament.
@@J3scribe Thanks!
It wouldn't be a grab bag without a darwin in it
I love these grab bags, always glad to see them everyday
BNSF 7695 the Golden Swoosh!!!!
7:57 GB missed it!
@@peterp1158 The GB didn't miss it, I did. That ol' deadline creeps up quickly, lol.
At 7:56 and paired with a bonnet to boot!
Very nice job!
Awesome video and I like the two old Santa Fe Bonnets I enjoy all videos Thank you
Beautiful 1930s Model T 😎
2:45 it's rare to see an ex-Southern high hood GP with intact and working walkway lights!
Nice work. Thanks.
Happy Saturday VR Friends🫶🏻
And to you! 🥰
The first boarding car behind the loco was CP424753, that was my car when I worked steel gangs @ 13:52
The golden swoosh 07:58 -- liked the old automobile 12:12
nice job on Grabs bag as always
It's been quite awhile since I last saw a grab bag. Awesome to see new engines.
A 🌠to top it off✨️

1:30 Return to Heritage Cars????
Whats the bnsf ocs train doing in Georgia?
I see a lot of CSX Transportation Passenger cars on VRF. Starting @ 2:07 I count 14 cars, CSX says they have no passenger service, but they are used for transporting personnel from location to location. Any truth to that?
12:07
😂
With regards to BNSF, what is a warbonnet and a fake bonnet?
The 500 and 600 series have "Santa Fe" on the side (warbonnet) and the 700s and 4700s have "BNSF" which some call fake bonnets
@@robchit1 Ok, Thanks.

8:38 new track?
11:30 hey I made the grab bag!
Shine the light!!!
Can you put a camera at Augusta ga yard
When Amtrak pulls private cars are the owners allowed to occupy?
Yes,they are as long as the car is deemed "Amtrak ready."
Why are you not showing the good stuff that's going tough Princeton Indiana?
12:07 When Your Parents Throw Up…
So,,,,they laid off 100 workers so they could buy new engines?
Was Raccoon trespassing ?
WHAT IS A CAMP TRAIN? It looks too big to be a MOW train.
Camp trains provide living and dining quarters in places where motels are too far away from the track work. NS uses them, too.
@@LeftVegas It seems to me to be too many cars for most track gangs but thank you for trying to help.🙂
A typical CP camp train is a tool car and 3 or 4 living quarters cars.
Somebody tell BNSF to put 'The Wedge" (preferably in red!) on a war bonnet engine
Where is everyone?
What is happening?
Strange. No horn exchange in Paradise. Somebody being antisocial.
I was going to comment on that also.
It's just beautiful🚂🚃♥️
