  • We had the extraordinary opportunity to visit Mark at his studio and chat with him about his inspiration, process, and his unique perspective on western art.
We cannot thank Mark and his team enough for taking the time out of a very busy schedule to sit down with us, and we hope you enjoy this interview as much as we did!

Excellent job bringing together two groups of people who, arguably, know and love nature better than any other two- hunters and artists. Preconceived notions suggest that they are at opposing ends of a spectrum of manliness and sensitivity. The existence of this nascent series demonstrates otherwise. Long-time fan of Mark. New fan of Western Hunter.

His illustrations are grandious and depict his understanding (or perhaps romaticising ?) of "the west". He is right though about the AI thing though. At least for now - AI lacks the human mind and experience that needs to be there for other humans to fully understand. Somehow his paintings remind me of the good illustrations that comic books had in the 60s and 70s :)
