What is 4DCT?

This video describes what 4DCT is and how it works. Most people are familiar with CT, which shows 3D volumes within the patient. 4DCT is 3DCT but with a fourth dimension of time. 4DCT allows us to visualize how the patient's insides move as he/she breathes in and out. This way, we can be more careful about radiating the tumor since we know where and how it moves, and spare normal tissue in the process.
