It’s hilarious, wholesome, and an all around great show. My usual genre is fantasy / science Fiction type stuff, but Kim’s Convenience is a keeper!
I love love this show!! My husband and and found this just looking for some good wholesome comedy without the drama and chaos seen on all the shows nowadays. What a treat this show is! We’ve watch a all 4 seasons during our corona lock down over n over!! As a matter of fact we’re gonna watch it again today!! 😂😂 absolutely love this show!! With love from the Boston area 👍💙💙
I'm a little late to the Kim's Convenience party but I absolutely LOVE this show! It makes me smile A LOT and laugh! I laughed so hard at this clip, especially the clips where Mrs Kim flicked him 😂 As a proud Canadian who is 2 hrs away, I hope to one day be able to visit and as an added bonus, take selfies with at least one cast member 😃
It is very rare for me to really enjoy a show that isn't a documentary or informative. I generally view watching TV as wasting time, but wow... This show is absolutely incredible. I am truly in love with how they did this. The shows I've enjoyed in the past are things like Narcos, stranger things, ETC. So the fact that I love this show so much blows my mind, It has given me a view into the Korean culture that I would have never imagined. I am a right leaning Male who lives in texas so seeing this side of the world in such a detailed and personal way really gave me some beautiful context and I feel like I can relate to all of the characters in such an amazing way. I love this show and the view of a part of the world I would have never seen. When I initially started watching I assumed it was going to be full of a bunch of woke non sense like so many other netflix shows, but it does a beautiful job of skipping bullshit and presenting humour in such a top tier manner.. The writers are true genius's and the cast is amazing... Sorry this is all over the place I am a bit tipsy but wow, I am actually almost emotional at the fact this show is ending. Finished all five seasons in like one week XD
Does any Korean know if the main cast actually speak Korean fluently? I'm only on Season 2 but whenever I hear them speak Korean (when they're meant to sound fluent), they sound a bit unnatural.
Yeah it's sad that the showrunner Ins just suddenly decided to move on from the show with little explanation why to the cast and to his fans, apparently without any consideration of coming back and giving it a proper ending. This is even though the show was greenlighted for a sixth season too!
Haha i just watched the first ep and it was cool I did find their pronunciation a bit off especially with the way mother and father in korean was pronounced but anyway it was fun Will watch this show when i need a smile or two and yeah i also do feel kinda bad that i found it after its last season Noticed a few days ago infact Also nice to see the guy from Shang chi here Maybe this is what got him noticed So yeah thats all for now Ciao ✌️😄👍 6p922o17
Oh... well as a korean i can say it's definitely made up but in a convincing way. Like appa pronounces some words with vowel sounds dragged that's real korean.
Paul (the guy playing Appa) mentioned in an interview that he could have gone for a better Korean accent but he's afraid that the audience would not be able to understand what he was saying.
Just completed the show and maybe because of the pandemic the quality might have reduced a bit towards the end but overall this is definitely a must watch sitcom to Chillax and have a good time and also happy to see nayoung in S5 but missed mrs Lee but yeah maybe she was there and I'm just forgetting but anyway in total i really liked the show and i want to thank all those involved in its making and I'll express so by saying GAMSAHAMNIDA....... 🙏😅🤗😄👍 4p1022o20
