If you're having problems when pressing a random button (usually it's the circle button) and the games keep pausing, try closing steam in the background, that might help.

how do I change the sensitivity of one of the buttons?
For example, I am trying to add a second "triangle" key binding using my xbox home button.
but I also need to change the sensitivity to which the button is pressed. This is required to do a certain move in a video game. without it, I am only able to stand/prone, I cannot crouch.
I would assume that would be done by default. I really never got into that. I Remember Metal Gear Solid 3 has something like. I have to tested it.
In the controllers settings there's a MACROS tab, there's a macro there called "Apply Pressure", maybe that will work, but I never tested it.

My issue is that I have one Xbox controller and one ps4 controller and When connect them The Xbox controller option show up like it only shows DualShock controller and if I put Xbox bindings on them only the ps4 or only Xbox would work please help
Have you tried changing the input source? There's dinput, xinput and other options even something for dualshock 4
Whenever my controller/adapter is plugged in, the pcsx2 crash and closes, works fine if I unplug it... but the controller works fine on older versions of pcsx2 and other emulators...

@@RUclips_IRE iirc there is no fix and they stated they won't fix it, it's something the newer 64bits version of PCSX2 has an issue, but it's ok on the older 1.7 32bits... most games will work fine with 1.7 32bits, but idk about the future of it...

Hi i have à problème i cant add a second controller , the first Was easy but for the second im stuck in"controller port not connected" even With the controller connected
What type of controller is it? Xinput, Dinput? Try choosing all of the input sources in the Controller General Settings.

In the controller type you can't choose anything other then "Not Connected"? Even without a controller you should be able to choose. Try restoring defaults in the controller or resetting the PCSX2 settings.
i have a problem is that the controller settingd dont save after restart
Have you tried in a new fresh installation of pcsx2?

I somewhat ran into an issue about a week later and it was with the controls. whenever i press circle it pauses while im playing. and whenever i press start, it pauses and shows me the settings of the emulator. i don't know how it happened honestly. I tried to reset it back and try again but it occurs again.
Seems like it's something to do with the pcsx2 hotkeys. Have you tried downloading a fresh install of pcsx2? Download the latest version in the pcsx2 website, extract it to a separate folder and test it out.

when i click on automatic binding my controller is not showing, and its already plugged on my pc (im using nintendo pro controller)
Does it show on windows controller settings or on other emulators?
@@geniusbugshow Actually, in windows the device does not appear. But it's plugged in, I can use it on steam.
Maybe it's missing some drivers? Have tried changing to Dinput in pcsx2?
@@geniusbugshow I tried update the drivers on windows but didnt work😩 i don't know if the problem is my PC (the Bluetooth also doesn't works as well, it's an AMD, windows 11)

Is your controller working? Is your windows detecting the controller?

Thanks for this. Any idea how to exit the emulator with the xbox controller? Rather than pressing esc on the keyboard I want to use the controller.
You can configure in the hotkeys to open the Pause menu with the Xbox Guide button, but this won't totally close the emulator, just the game.
please help! Im trying to play kuon and it says "push start button" but theres no start button on the ps5 controller and only on ps2? How do i bind the ps5 controller to work and also i have no ps2 adaptor
Go to the controller settings and bind it manually. Try changing to other input aources like "dinput."

Hello! at first it worked but after I updated my pcsx2, my controller doesn't work anymore so I redo all of this but when it comes to automatic binding, it keeps saying that "No generic bindings were generated for device 'SDL-0'. The controller/source may not support automatic mapping." please help me
Does it support Manual Mapping? Is it working on other emulators? Is this on Linux? Happens to me on Linux with one of my controller, but only via Bluetooth I think.

Does anybody know how to pair a wireless controller(PS4 controller) to the android version of PCSX2? Every time I pair it with my phone I’m able to maneuver through the menus with the controller, but when I actually unpause the game and get back to the game play, I can only use the touchpad controls 😢
Sorry if this is answered in your video but is there a way to bind certain usb ports to specific players? Like have a usb port that will be player one whether I have an Xbox one controller connected to it or a fightstick connected. Really sucks having to re configure every time I want to switch controllers
PCSX2 now has Controller Profiles. It's at the bottom in the Controller Settings. You can have different configurations, for the same connect controllers you use. You can choose the profile individually for each game in the "Per-Game Settings."

Bro i hav a ps2 controller and it works perfectly in the lap. But there is 1 slight problem the z axis got inversed with z rotation. Hence when i try to look upwards to goes sideways vice-versa . Kindly please help 😢
You can try using Dinput in the controller section. Or just configure the controller this way: If up goes to the right, then configure the right to the up axis, if you know what I mean.
I don't know if anyone had these problems but i can't use my R up and down stick. Does anyone know how to fix that?

Im having some problems since i use qt my xbox one controller didnt work well, on tokyo extreme racer drift 2 i cant accelerate and brake , on gran turismo 4 i can turn left of right with the left stick or d-pad ( i dont remember if d pad is usable for this) i enable all the inputs and also when i select automatic mapping for xbox one controller say is not possible or something like that 😅 edit: on the menus I don't have any of this problems also I can use everything
However I can map all the buttons by my own without issues
Do any of those games use pressure buttons? For automatic mapping what input-source are you using? Even if it is Xinput have you tried testing on the other 2?

Are you using a keyboard as the controller? You can change the keys of the keyboard Manually to another key.

That's weird. Maybe PCSX2 is not compatible with your keyboard? Have you tried setting the start button to another keyboard key? @@Huzzii_here

I bought a ps2 usb adapter but my ps2 controller doesn't show up in pcsx2. the controller works on real playstation 2.
the adapter actually shows up as ps3 controller when nothing is plugged in but when i plug in my ps2 controller to the adapter it goes away on pcsx2 :(
Have you tried using dinput? It's in the input sources.

Go to the controller settings, and in the USB Port 1 change to Buzz Controller.

i have a problem with my right analog, it can move right n left camera but didn't work for up n down camera..i was try to clear all mapp n manually config it again..but it doesnt work,😢😢but in stable version pcsx2 1.6 all key mapping work fine.
Is it xinput, or dinput? Have you tried Enabling all of those options, or disabling the ones that aren't compatible with you controller? (SDL, Xinput, Dinput)

@@gvnasty1434 I don't know what kind of controller you're using, but have you tried using the other types of input Source? You also sure the controller is working correctly? In the controller panel on windows you can check if it's working correctly.

Hi for my pcs qt nightly my right analog stick has very wierd movements ...((in my 3 games the right analog stick is used for where you want your character to look))....in all games when i want my caracter to look left ot right the character looks in a diagnal motion.....in my computer calibrate it shows everything is fine with my controller so this is a pcs qt problem...did you have this problem? How did you fix it
Is it a xinput controller? if it is try disabling the SDL input Source. Maybe the autobinding is messing things up. Have you tried configuring the right stick manually?
@@geniusbugshow so its not a xinput and when i test all the buttons in windows controller check all the buttons past the test....with the psc2 (same version as yours) the right joystick just does that wierd thing that i said im my last comment....wait so, for the version of your psc2 you can configure buttons manually? I only see 'automatic mapping' only for sdl
If you click in the rectangle below the button ex: R3. You can config it manually. You can also go to settings (next to bindings) and try messing with the analog deadzone.

How do we make the controller vibrate? I use the nightly version and still it wont
What kind of controller are you using? If it is a xinput it should vibrate by default when using the SDL or xinput source.

Is 1.6 pcsx2 better or this one? ... I used to be able to bind my ds4 controller manually in 1.6 pcsx2 but when i try to bind it this time .. for example when i click any right analog bind .. it move the mouse cursor instead of binding it
There is a setting Dualshock 4/Dualsense Enhanced mode in the controller settings. See if that helps. Or maybe you have to use ds4-windows.com
