Woow superb diy project. This is awesome bright ideas in action. How are they doing now after few months of usage. Can you also sharing wiring details and how do you connect them to the switches
You have some serious interest in lighting bro! I have a jeep compass 2017, with reflector fogs. Also my HID's seem to be on bit low side for country side drives. WHat do you suggest? A projector fog upgrade or a imported lightbar?
Hi John, My suggestion is a GOOD LED LIGHT BAR is the best upgrade for country side drive, if you are OK with fixed clamps ( if you can manage or no problem with cops for extra light ), or magnet will do a better job but will take 5 min to setup or remove, FOG lamps will give extra visibility like 30% to 40% but a GOOD LED bar can give a 100% extra visibility and you can adjust the angle too . For light bar, i have a video if your have time or interested check this : ruclips.net/video/o4FxTCVHR6M/видео.html Have any question, comment below, will reply...
Nce Idea , can this setup work with 12V socket without relay? its a silly question ,since i dont have any idea on elctrical and electronics i just posted it.
Since 12v socket is perfect for low power loads like phone charger etc, you cannot load HIGH WATTS (POWER) consuming lights like this for long period of time, it will MELT the holder (connecting inside the 12volt socket).
Hey Brother, loads of love to your work from Uttar pradesh Northern India. I also wanna order the same pair of magnets from where can i order them? And I have one more query. I own a honda wrv and i am not at all satisfied with its light unit. Need your guidance for its upgrade. What should i switch to ? HIDS? LEDS? PROJECTORS FOR FOG AND HEAD UNIT BOTH? AND I already have a couple of HIDS mounted lights on my bull guard
Hi Tushar Yadav, Thank You and Glad you like my videos, I bought this magnet from aliexpress.com, If you need the link reply me i will check and post it, My Suggestion (opinion) for upgrading the light, as you have mentioned that you have a extra pair of HID on your bull guard, HID's are one of the best performers, can you please tell me what brand they are, so that i can get an idea how their performance will be , Option : 1 Upgrading the headlight bulb with after market LED light bulb is like hit or miss, In my opinion still now these LED light bulbs have not achieved the performance of 100/90 watts halogen, As from a opposite diver view LED light looks like bright very bright and powerful but when you sit behind the led light as a driver you see a WEAK lights on road, Most of the LED bulbs just create glare to opposite vehicles, if you wish to test a LED bulb you can try CREE XHP 70 led bulbs it is one of the best so far i have tested ( if you like to know the performance i have a posted a video about CREE XHP 70 : ruclips.net/video/99ACsc68w5Y/видео.html ) Option : 2 There are LED Projectors head lights with laser high beam, they are pretty costly (very costly), with QUAD setup it will bring the sun on the road, they have to be fitted with a professional (retrofitting) ( if you like to know the performance i have a posted a video about LASER LED PROJECTOR : ruclips.net/video/dYef1FNN5C8/видео.html ) Option : 3 Adding a Hid in fog in a good upgrade but it should be branded product like morimoto etc.. Option : 4 You can try a LED BAR again it should be from a good brand like Ridge or LightForce etc... ( if you like to know about ridge light bar i have posted a video : ruclips.net/video/o4FxTCVHR6M/видео.html ) Have any doubt or question, comment below, will reply you...
@@wheelklub Thanks alot for your feed back sir. I have thought of some setups and want your feedback on that. Option1::- Since I told you about those HID light unit, I dnt remember there brand but i got them for 3000 bucks and there were fixed on the bullguard which I removed after the government passed the new rules. So now i am thinking of setting them up using those magnets on the bonet. And they also have those yellow filters for fog. Along with that I am thinking of using mini projectors of HID of which you gave demo (Green box one). And bixenon hid projectors 2.5inch setup on fog lights. Option 2::- I have searched alot about Leds from past one month and i came to the conclusion that you are absolutely right about the glare and all. But I want you to look after ( Gtr Ultra 2 led ) which I guess are the perfect led for both reflectors as well as projectors since it is identical to the original halogen. These have good throw, brightness, hotspot area and band. They if aligned properly doesnt glare and output lux is 3times the normal halogen. And to use (mini gtr light) for fog lamps. I am avoiding using bi xenon setup in headlight cuz i dont wanna temper the haedlights and open the seal. Waiting for your reply. Btw where are you from? And trust me you do great work keep it up and yaa voice is mandatory..so if not while recording , you can also prefer voice over. I as frnd have a advice for you. If you want you can check ( Headlight Revolution ) channel. Its kinda good. Stay safe. Take care bro.
Hi Tushar, Just went through the GTR LED on the web, I have not tested it, The Price seems to be very HIGH, but there are other bulbs in the same pattern (like halogen), My opinion is to test a same patter bulb which cost one third of GRT. Why i am saying this is, Most of the led bulb are made in china including gtr with same COB chip. if you are OK with GRT price, Happy to Buy them. For FOG you need to retrofit it, Try to buy the projectors that fix inside the FOG, a GOOD setup will cost you 5k to 10k, Try to use OSRAM XENARC or NIGHT BREAKER LASER or PHILPS XTREME VISION HID bulbs and projectors from Morimoto to have a good light pattern and light on road and very IMPORTANT thing is always try to buy the bulbs with kelvin rating between 4500k to 5500k ( MAX 6000k) to get good visibility, as human eyes can see better in these kelvin ratings.Above 6000k you will get bluish color it not that good for visiblity. I too, do not prefer opening the headlights which will result in losing the originality, whether sealing, etc... But still you need it, there is a other option, Remove the original headlight which came with the vehicle, Get a second hand headlight or after market headlight (which are very cheap) try the retrofitting in it with projectors ( again a good projector) Thank you for the info, yes i went through the Headlight revolution they are doing great on headlights..
Thanks alot bro for your help. Can you provide me with links of the following :- 1- Green box mini projector 2- Halogen bulbs 3- projector n hid setup for fog lamps 4- Magnets Want to buy them. Thanks again. Take care. Waiting for more of your content

@@wheelklub hi bro I knew u and wanted to ask u that i want to install very powerful fog lamp in my bike. Liked IPH M617 and HJG 60w (4leds) plz suggest me led only. For knowledge plz tell led, hid which is powerful? Its message bro not reply so video content doest matter.
Hello YNR, Glad to see a detail reply, My suggestion for LED fog for Bike : First of all, YOU NEED only LED and your are correct, LED is a better choice when compared to HID if your are fitting a new one, Sorry to say, I have NEVER tried or TESTED any LED fog lamps, but with my experience my suggestion to buy fog lamps with better low beam spread pattern, it should be like a projector low beam pattern, try to place it very low (max you can) so it will not blind others and at the same time you will get wide beam pattern, if you place it on TOP, near to the headlight or on the Handel Bar, you have to tilt it down to get better visibility, but the light spread will be narrowed, LED Light COLOR is a very important factor as like brightness Always try to get light with 4500k to 5500k these are the best rang for HUMAN eyes to see better. Always Remember better light pattern gives a comfortable riding experience, and will be better than a BRIGHTER light with UN EVEN light PATTERN I will upload a simple LED vs HID comparison video with in two days, Have anything to say? reply below...

Hi karthic, You can find this light in amazon.com or if you have any known person in USA you can get it from them, the second option will be less expensive (unless the person like carry this 4.5 kg light from usa) if you buy from amazon you need to pay the customs. ( i bought it through a friend from USA)
