- Hi everyone! In today's video I'll be showing you an empty house tour of our new desert home. We are so excited to be back in Phoenix Arizona and to show you this home walkthrough. We are so grateful to be in this rental and I'm excited to start all of the makeovers and transformations I have planned for this space! The tortoise and the pool are my favorite parts. Living in the heat would be hard w/out having a pool. I'm sure you'll make the house cute with your decorating.

Always check your patio and yard for rattle snakes. They like the cold cement and rocks. My sister lives in Arizona too and her dog was bit. Stay safe😊

But word of caution, not to be a bummer! But you are right against open land so be aware that coyotes will hop right over your back wall. Don’t let your dog (even a big one) out alone!!
I'm really excited for you guys! Although I'm not a fan of the desert heat, I can see you really enjoy the vibe, and I think it will fit your style really well. You'll be able to do some really cool stuff with wood and terracotta and Native American baskets and crafts, and I think the pieces that you already have will pretty much blend. I agree with you about that light fixture in the kitchen and maybe the fan. Although your cushion might not fit, I see that bay window in there as being the best place for a windowseat. The neighborhood looks really cute, and I do love the view. Can't wait for your next video. Don't forget lots of moisturizer 🧡

Holy cats that’s a big back yard. And a pool too. That’s so awesome. I think the house has the challenges that are going to be great for your channel. Because I think a lot of people face the same things. With the ceiling fans and light fixtures in a rental. The more permanent things like the tile and counters. What do you do to bring it up to date without going against your rental agreement. Plus just everyday styling. You are going to have so much fun. And the tortoise 🐢 is a bonus. How can you not love that sweet face. ❤

I’m excited to see how you decorate it being a rental. We had a house fire and lost everything so we are staying in a rental as we decided not to move back after rebuilding and sold our house to a contractor. Being in a rental limits me to be able to do a lot of things I would normally do if I owned the house so I do a lot of decorating using decor pieces and furniture. Looking forward to seeing your ideas come to life in your new home! Congratulations!
