Looking forward to the video about your thoughts on the expo.. I’d love if you could throw in some tips for absolute newbies because we want to go to a convention this fall/winter or next year (not necessarily the anime expo), but not sure where to start when it comes to choosing which one and planning for it.. 🙈 Thanks for sharing your highlights from the expo 🤗

this is my second time attending anime expo so i knew what to expect and yeah i really wish the con had a lower capacity for ppl to actually enjoy it... lots of the times i feel like you have to survive bcus everybody is literally shoulder to shoulder cramped lol. AX is definitely not a newbie friendly con (since it is one of the biggest ones), but i really did like the things they had to offer.

Yes! I agree. Having less people would have made the experience so much better especially for 1st time attendees. I'll be uploading my video on my experience this week.

Anime Expo has always been a crap show for a couple of years now… a few years ago I learned to be there at like 7 am to get to the lines for the panels especially for the sailor moon one. Anime Expo never really learns and I wish they would some how like split it into a few weekends or at least have a limit on tickets sales. This are just my thoughts. I’m glad you had fun on your first time!

anime expo has been consistent when it comes to being poorly put together. crowd and line management is always crap. its an event that is really well sponsored and attended so it gets a lot of money, but none of those profits result in a better convention. i'm glad you had a fun time! hope you got your cosplay lewks ready for SDCC
