Germany was the BEST Team on the competitivo until this game. They were playing the BEST basketball and the match was a Joy to watch. Could have gone both ways but in the end Spain was a bit more effective scoring and won. Congrats yo Germany, they have a bright future.

As a Greek that was watching a lot of Basketball during the 2000-2010s, I have to say that in any matchup, Spain was the team I always feared and respected the most. France has a great team and also deserved to be in the finals, but I'll be supporting Spain on this one.
And its go to be a real challenge for Spain. Probably te hardest step in this tournament, because for this team fight against a squad like France with that athletics and tall guys is a next level for the spaniards. So only confidence and playing as a team could give a chance to win the final game.

Soy argentino pero este resultado no me sorprende para nada, España viene forjando una mistica desde la decada del 2000, pueden ir perdiendo pero te dan vuelta el resultado sin que te des cuenta, es un equipo que no se achica en estos tipos de partidos. A los argentinos nos tocó sufrirlos hace poco en la final del Mundial 2019, torneo en donde le ganamos a casi todos los favoritos pero contra ellos no pudimos. Suerte para la final 🇦🇷🤝🇪🇦

Huge respect and all the kudos to Spanish team, although she hurt us the Greeks many times, this team shows us today how basketball is played. Germany amazing team this year, but Spain taught you a lesson today.
And that lesson is : instead of rebuilding with your excellent youth talent you buy an american mercenary 2 months before the tournament who has zero connection to the country at all.

I knew all that fake congrats from the greek fans after they lost to germany was just that - fake. simply butthurt. you allowed them to shoot that well, germany shot well today AGAIN and ALL TOURNAMENT long. look at the statistics. they shoot well over 40% from three all the time and if you do not defend them, they will torch you... like they did. spain noticed it and limited them to around 40%, they still scored 91 which is totally fine. germany lost because of experience from spain, and greece lost to germany because they could not defend the three. none of it was luck. france shot lmost 60% from three today aswell, because poland allowed them to shoot. that also was not luck.

lol against the refs, you don't even know what your're talking about. refs were bad all tournament for ALL teams. refs usually get fooled by spanish flopping more than other teams tbh, its in football and in basketball likewise :) today germany had a 10 point lead and lets say cleverness of spain in getting offensive fouls was a big reason the game shifted back in their favour when everyone thought germany had the momentum in the beginning of the fourth. I am not blaming it all on the refs, it also was naive of youth on german side getting baited in some silly tickytack fouls, but to say spain had the refs against them today is just pure bias on your end. Spain played well and executed on offense, but lets not act like spain was playing against all odds here. germany gave the game away by making too many mistakes in the fourth, loosing composure on defense, and not finding a bucket for a couple posessions in that stretch, while they also got a bunch of offensive fouls during those minutes. Experience made the difference today, nothing else.

Grandes canastas por ambas partes, de las que hacen afición al baloncesto. I knew all that fake congrats from the greek fans after they lost to germany was just that - fake. simply butthurt. you allowed them to shoot that well, germany shot well today AGAIN and ALL TOURNAMENT long. look at the statistics. they shoot well over 40% from three all the time and if you do not defend them, they will torch you... like they did. spain noticed it and limited them to around 40%, they still scored 91 which is totally fine. germany lost because of experience from spain, and greece lost to germany because they could not defend the three. none of it was luck. france shot lmost 60% from three today aswell, because poland allowed them to shoot. that also was not luck.

lol against the refs, you don't even know what your're talking about. refs were bad all tournament for ALL teams. refs usually get fooled by spanish flopping more than other teams tbh, its in football and in basketball likewise :) today germany had a 10 point lead and lets say cleverness of spain in getting offensive fouls was a big reason the game shifted back in their favour when everyone thought germany had the momentum in the beginning of the fourth. I am not blaming it all on the refs, it also was naive of youth on german side getting baited in some silly tickytack fouls, but to say spain had the refs against them today is just pure bias on your end.
Spain played well and executed on offense, but lets not act like spain was playing against all odds here. germany gave the game away by making too many mistakes in the fourth, loosing composure on defense, and not finding a bucket for a couple posessions in that stretch, while they also got a bunch of offensive fouls during those minutes. Experience made the difference today, nothing else.
