My favorite city in mexico it just feels like home away from home. Mazatlan has the second biggest carnaval in mexico after el puerto de Veracruz and it gets really bussy for semana santa as well. Maybe greg should do the pacifico marathon in November, this year it falls on Thanksgiving weekend and the the firework show after the marathon puts Disneyland firework show to shame. They set up fireworks all along the malecon and it gets all lit up for like 30 minutes non stop
I am so glad you got to visit Mazatlan and I am sad that you weren't able to explore more of our beautiful city and our wonderful and proud people of Mazatlan. These are the reasons I chose to retire here and everyday I find something wonderful in our town. I hope you come back when you have more time to enjoy this magical place.
I am so happy you went to Mazatlan! I lived there for 4 years in the early 80’s. I fell in love with the city, I am hoping to go back in mid November 2019
Greetings from Las Vegas. I can see myself visiting Mazatlan for a vacation. Living there would be another question. I'm planning on moving to Mexico in 2021 but I cannot take triple digit temperatures anymore. I'll head toward the central plains, where the elevation is much higher, with cooler temps. I'm thinking Guanajuato, Silao or Cholula Puebla. Lower humidity and cooler temps will suit me just fine. Loved the island beach and would visit in the off season.
Lived in Vegas 2 years. Was 1 year too long. Mexico is different in the best possible ways. Now I live in split time in Texas and Mexico year round. Life went up a solid 5 to 7 points Haha. No regrets.
They get fed every day, they had little bowls where a few locals make their daily route filling the bowls with cat food and water, plus what they get from the tourist, I've also seen a few racoons lately
Dude !!!!! My mouth is watering just to see ya eating that shrimp with chipotle sauce looks delicious and I willing to bet it taste as good, thank y’all for showing us these videos 👍😍😍
Ustedes exploran hasta el último rincón desconocido de México...saludos amigos siempre veo buenos videos con ustedes muy buenas tomas..excelente trabajo 👍🏊♂️🏃♂️🤗🤗
Goyo and Güera, you're missing the best coffee in Mexico! And ofcourse you'll find it in one of the most beautiful cities in the entire country... ta ta ta tan.....!!! San Cristobal de Las casas
How come you were here and I didn't even notice!? Some of the big events we have during the year, every year: Carnival, in February: beautiful, colorful, full of party and music, a beautiful parade, a great firework show, concerts, and dancing. It represents a lot of history of this city, I think it is the second biggest in Mexico, for sure one of the most important in Latin America. Yes, it gets packed. Holy week and easter week: Party, beach, drink, party, beach, drink. Of course there are the religious ceremonies as well, but not as colorful as in San Miguel de Allende for instance. Holy week does get a lot of people. Immediately after holy week, in easter week, we always have the "Semana internacional de la moto" thousands of motorcycles of all kinds from Mexico and USA. If you are into that, it would be awesome for you. More party vibes, drinking, rock concerts and beautiful bikes. Great Marathon: In november, people from many countries, and different parts of Mexico come, including countries like Kenya. There is a big firework show synchronized with music all along the malecon and it lasts like 40 minutes! Mazatlan is a baseball town, even though we are preparing a new soccer team and a new stadium. I am sure you saw many "Venados" jerseys and caps, that's our beloved home team. They play in the LMP, the best baseball league in Mexico, many players that are prospects or former players of MLB and AAA play in this league. Anyways, they play during the winter (October-february) and it is absolutely fun to go to our baseball stadium (recently restored and with MLB standards) and watch a game even if you are not a baseball fan. And well, we have other cultural, special events and concerts along the year (music day, cultural week)... Besides, every weekend has chill or party vibes in Mazatlan, depending on what you want and where do you go. Oh yeah, warm weather almost all year, winter gets cool, but not cold. A light sweater is enough, you can even go to the beach in winter, surf, skate or ride a bicycle along the malecon... Well, we have plenty for very low (or non) cost, hehe. Sorry for the long comment, I am just very glad you had a good time here and we all can't wait to have you back and you enjoy your stay, food, places, and vibes again. And why not... stick to us, because, "Acá hasta un pobre se siente millonario, aquí la vida se pasa sin llorar" -José Alfredo Jimenez ¡Saludos, amigos!
Oh, and most importantly... The food, oh man, the food. Not to brag, but Sinaloa's taste, flavor, and variety is unique. I lived in another state for more than a year and I sure missed the food from Mazatlan. Even if you go to great restaurants, the taste doesn't get close to Sinaloa. Of course, it is my home state, so the food thing can be a little bias 😂
You have to come back in semana santa or december, you missed a lot of cool things to do, if you come back i recommend you to go to the deer island, also to the ziplines, the aquarium, next year it´s going to be open a mazatlan museum, you can also go to playa brujas, etc.
Fun fact : the lighthouse itself isn't actually tall. Its actually the elevation at which the lighthouse was built that makes it the tallest. I think a more appropriate name would be the highest lighthouse in the Americas.
Our friends park in a campground right on the beach during the winter. They eat at Lety's all the time. We took the panga over to see them a couple of times and had lunch there. Yummy! And isn't that beach awesome?
I think you guys has to go back to Baja south, and explore, Loreto, Bahia concepción with his awesome virgin beaches spots like SANTISPAC, playa coyote y el Requezon,. Plus more in the upper the only oasis in North America the little village of San Ignacio
perdón por no saber el ingles.... pero me gustaría que subtitulen sus vídeos y también traten de hablar español ya que parece que llegaron ayer a México.. y así duplicarían a sus seguidores.. saludos

You guys need to visit El Quelite about 20-30 minutes from Mazatlán. Pueblo Mágico. Great food!!
Muy de acuerdo!
The town is nice, like any other puéblo mágico, but the road to El Quelite is too dangerous. Definitely not worth the risk in my opinion.
@@gilbertotoledo1421 muy riesgoso? yo he ido muchas veces sin ningun prblema 🙂
Gilberto Toledo no it’s not that dangerous, we’re from el quemado which is 5 mins from el quelite y la carretera esta bien es todo derecho
You should visit Mazatlán in October when the baseball season stars so you can watch the Venados Baseball team. Also come back to the carnaval !
Greg, what an excellent Spanish! You should try it more often.
Simply Beautiful. Another little piece of paradise. Please don't go without taste the best seafood in Mexico. Nice weekend Amigüeros !😎

Love Mazatlán. Our family lived there for awhile. You must make it to Cerritos beach. Such amazing quiet beaches.
Yeah, there's a few RV parks in that part of Mazatlan and we plan to check those out for sure!

I was looking forward to seeing the lighthouse.. Were y'all not allowed to film the lighthouse?
Another wow view
For dessert try the local pastel de 3 leches at the Aquamarina Hotel's coffee shop. It is a local's eatery.
