I just finished with the front struts, they weren't too bad, these videos made all the difference for real. I'll be honest though I am doing this with only a scissor lift for the spare tire from my mom's Toyota Rav 4. I have no other jack or jack stands. Am I going to have to have another jack to get that bottom bolt out or is it doable without one? I don't really have the money to buy any right now but I want them. They're ridiculous though ,auto zone wants almost $40 for one jack stands. That's seriously theft damn near but oh well lol
At least he used a slightly rusted old shock as an example. It will be a more accurate depiction for viewers watching this because their shocks are likely in the same condition and will be a challenge to get out. Not likely everyone will have fairly new shocks on a 10+ year old vehicle.
