I’m not threatened by finding out too late after death. That’s all made up as well. We have a short biological life. @@fezzik7619 Man created god. That statement is both right and wrong.
God created man in His own image. God the Almighty who is Eternal. That one God is the only true God.
After multiplying on the Earth, after the fall of Adam and Eve, the children of men as told in the Bible and Apocryphal ancient texts, forgot the existence of God. Generation after generation, it just seemed to them as if God didn't exist, yet they could see some powerful things were going on, but they made statues of metal or stone or wood in order to worship the gods they had created for themselves.
So in that way, Men did create gods, and God did create Man.
And the God of the Bible, the Eternal One does warn us that worshipiing - FALSE - gods is displeasing to His eyes.
I do not hear of so many religions in which their god is warning his people to not worship other gods.
The God of the Bible demonstrated his almighty power over the gods of Egypt which at the time were in the eyes of the entire world the most powerful gods and Pharaon had the most powerful mages in his land of all lands.
That's why God Almighty humiliated them of all nations, to show his Supreme Power and Glory.
Regarding life after death, I encourage you to read a scientific book called Life after Life written by Dr Raymond Moody. It tells what happened to a great variety of people from all backgrounds using a scientific understanding of the events. I gave it to people who were skeptic, and they all thanked me for giving them that book as it gave them new keys of understanding.
If nothing happens after we die, then life is absolutely pointless and there would be no reason for life to even exist.
You talk about wasting our life worrying about the judgement, but what would there be to be wasted about your life if you have a short biological life that ends into an eternal chaos ? You enjoy it as it happens, and then you're gone with no memory of what you've done and the memory of you fades away as generations pass if anyone even remembers you. That's the saddest thing one could ever convince themselves of. Of all the possibilities for the reason of life existing, how could you pick the saddest one ? Because you never listened to people around you who do know God for reasons that you probably love to reject because they do not fit with the criterias you consider to be reliable in order to believe, right ?
Now believers worry about non-believers because if God does exist, just imagine for a second or two !
And he wants you to love Him as He loves you, but instead he watches you turning your back like an angry kid, saying : "Nope, God does not exist". What do you think his reaction will be ? I'm sure you understand.
God blesss you brother, I hope you find your way home someday, like I did :)

I SO enjoy your thoughts, opinions, and explanation of voice, and more importantly, technique. Anyone can record a reaction video, but I love the way you break it down, and make me think about my own performances...David Phelps (to me), is the most talented, agile, pure, emotive male vocalists I’ve ever heard, and someone I’d totally geek out to hear live. Thank you for your take on this, and for you take on the other artists you react to! You’re awesome!

DJMECA I got to go to one of Davids concerts this year as a birthday present, and I was blown away and I've been listening to him and an avid fan for 20 years lol. And let me tell you big setting or small like the concert I went to in which only about 70 people showed up, he doesn't hold back or give Less of an effort the man is worth every penny and effort on your part to go see. I can't recommend him enough!

I have been singing for 17 years now, (since I was 10) and have been classically trained in Bel Canto Operatic technique by a Vocal Master who did masters work at Juilliard.
In my whole life, I have never encountered a voice as majestic, and on-point as David Phelps.
Props to you as well. I can tell you are a very well educated and sound vocal teacher. Some other amazing voices I recommend for analysis are Sandi Patty, Anthony Warlow, Larnelle Harris, and Linda Edar.

But NO one is like David Phelps, he has a gift of a voice, and even the best of the best cannot help but get excited when David sings. Not only are his voice skills remarkable, he believes what he is singing about and it shows.. great expression in his presentation.

    I suggest "Just As I Am", "No More Night", "Behold The Lamb", "I Wanna Know What Love Is", "Unchained Melody", "Oh Holy Night", "End of The Beginning", which are solo songs;
And "Let Freedom Ring", "These Are They", "There Is a River", "More Than Ever", "Glorious Freedom", "Sinner Saved By Grace", with the group he used to sing with, The Gaither Vocal Band.

David is trained. I know he went to the school of music at Baylor University and received his degree in music and vocal performance. I've been able to see him twice live so far and he is just as powerful in person. His Christmas tour is nearby in December so I'll make the trek to see him again. His latest CD does seem to be in his lower register but still so clear and beautiful.

I've been a DP fan for years and years and was able to bring him to our church 3 years ago and sing in the back-up choir with him.
