I've had a ton of calf strains over the last 10 years. Really missing running and so anxious to get back into it. Nothing crazy, just hoping for 15-25 miles/week. Will give this warm up a go.
@MARK SPENCER How did it go? I've had the same problem the last 18 months. My calf strains keep reoccurring even though I limit how often and how far I jog, And did warm-ups and stretches after. And giving months of rest in between strains at times too.
@@jf9316 @telemarktumalo6978 I have the same problem. Over 10yrs of right calf strain and having to wait months in between. I finally did 15 visits physical therapy (VA covered) and I learned a lot but mostly that my right calf was considerably weaker than my left which I believe was due to all the strains over the years. I continue to work on strengthening and right now I'm not going to touch any hill related running even on the treadmill. I'm curious how you guys are doing since it's been 2+yrs ago.

I'm going to give this warm-up a try ... burning calves when I tried to run in the past & now in trampoline classes too 😬 Would have never thought 😳

Would this exercise be ok to do before doing stretching before playing badminton please?
Would this be good to do with a current week old mild calf sprain? I'll definitely be adding it to my warm up when I'm back "up and running".
