Hi Viktor. Very nice Plugin. Just Testing the Demo on a Project. But i have one question. Is ist possible to scale the shingles? They are a Bit to big on my house Project. It makes the house smaler because of the Proportion to the whole creation.
Hi, the problem with Blender is that most Blender users expect everything for free. I can't afford to make another mistake as with the port to 3dsMax. I am sorry , LWCAD will be only for LightWave and Cinema 4D for now.
@@architron I understand. Thx for quick answer. With Blender its helpfull, that I dont must pay every year 400€ like for an update for LightWave and additional costs for update my favorite Plugins/Addons. I only use it for private.
@@Einhorn-ut1mm Blender's license agreement forces devs like Viktor to make his software fully open source, it means that someone with more marketing resources could easily take his work, repurpose it, then re-sell it 100% legally. Viktor would also be forced to make his product free and just ask for voluntary donations. It isn't a good environment for commercial developers in general. This is why you see many advanced tools for paid applications that don't exist in Blender, and why you see such a rapid cycle of plugins that come and go there.
You can import default palette from the plugin folder (lwcad_palette.l4d and nurbs_palette.l4d). AS it is written in install instructions: sites.google.com/view/architron/lwcad-5-x-cinema-4d-3dsmax/2-installation/manual-instal Don't forget to save layout as a Startup Layout at the end! Or you can create your own custom palette and attach it anywhere you want it in the C4d layout. There are plenty of tutorials of how to do this in Cinema. Do you plan to remodel your tool for using in Blender? I supported your tool LWCad long time in Lightwave, no I changed to Blender.
