I still have my Dad's 1973 Penton 125 Six Day, he bought the thing brand new and it still gets to go racing once in awhile. It's unfortunate that I live as far away from you as I do. I believe I would enjoy a position working with you guys. I started racing in 1968 at 5 years old and have never stopped. I've either owned, ridden or raced along side many, many of the bikes in your videos. I grew up and old with these bikes and even now still race VMX with a couple. I live elsewhere now but was born and grew up racing in Southern California, San Bernardino to be exact, in the heyday of the sport and I'm blessed to still be involved today. I truly appreciate you videos, Particularly the 76 to 80 era bikes, they bring the memories and that's a good thing.
Beautiful!! My era growing up, 70’s-80’s!! When things were made with pride and quality! Thanks for your great work. Restoring the ole building, window or bars from ole bank. Love it.
Drove from upstate NY yesterday to see the museum with my son, loved it can't wait for the downstairs to open ,the man working the door was cool thanks for saving the history of the sport!
Those bikes look awesome !! I get tired just watching all your videos you post...... Whew you have some serious stamina dude ! That looked like awesome FUN at the compound this weekend. You are the coolest cat around. God bless Kaplan Cycles and America !!
You guys are the epitome of the old saying "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life"... That's awesome! Another great video guys, thanks for sharing! I hope all of you guys and your families have a great holiday season! God bless America!
Thanks for making me realize just how old I am. I had several of these bikes growing up and remember the ones I didn't. They are now historic, collectors, antiques, 😆 Loved and enjoyed the video, liked and subscribed!
That would be a dream come true, to be able to check all those bikes. I loved those bikes growing up and never, would I have thought they would still be around. Rock on Kaplin, that is crazy!!
This is heaven to me, the dream hoard. The moto fox CR looks awesome. Those twin shocks and that beautiful air cooled motor are just stunning, What a machine!! I love the penton KTM also. I love them all. Every single one is incredible!!!
@@randynelson5608 I have actually never seen one with a headlight that's what made me really say wow. I knew suzuki had the rs but I never knew much about them.are they like a rm? Or rmx style?
All your dirt bikes are my era, so many AWESOME dirt bikes, I'm 65 now and I NEED a 76 or 77, 78... Kawasaki 900 or 1000 mine got stolen when my kids were little and I never replaced it, can you PLEASE help, I'm sure you see some nice street bikes when you're out finding all these SWEET dirt dreams!!!
I'm home alone, working on a project for this week - no friends or barbecues. BUT WE HAVE A NEW DELIVERY OF BIKES ON KAPLAN (I want that '81 CR125)!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
From morocco thank you for this video that made us relive the past years. in a time I had the famous yamaha xt 500. I really feel nostalgia watching this video. Thanks you again
My God, you are rolling out my early high school dream line up. I would pour over Dirt Bike magazine and just dream of some day owning these bikes. That day never happened for that 16 year old. Raised in the suburbs with nothing but track homes and pavement for miles and parents who could have cared less about dirt bikes. Lol. Then I got into mini trucks and cars. I haven’t thought about these things until now. Thanks for bringing back the memories!
Beautiful bikes. You guys are so lucky. Had a tear in my eye when you brought out the 79 RM. I had a brand new RM 80 in 1978. Looked just like it. What a rocket ship for an 11 year old. Not sure how I ever convinced my dad.
Superb! I really like the Penton’s bike the one signed, it’s really interesting how the engine was made as it looks really “cube” shape. Never seen something like that before. Awesome
Awesome shit mate. Brings back memories, love the old RM. It was one of those simply iconic dirt bikes that scared grown men that had never experienced a 2 stroke crosser. Cheers from New Zealand.
When I was just a kid, I had a Yamaha MX 80 as my first bike. When I turned 14 my mother bought me a used 1974 Suzuki TM 125. Man, I loved that bike. I learned to ride on that bike. Seeing those bikes coming off that trailer brought me back to the good old days.
Man u really come across some beautiful rare things man. I get jelly watching some of your videos. Glad your preserving these bikes all your videos worth
I love them all! Elsinores are where it's at, but it was really nice to see that Suzuki RM 250 in the mix, I love those guys too! Husqvarna, KTM, Montessa.... Wow!!! Just so much gold in this video, even that rokon!
My buddy had some neighbors next to their cabin in Northern Michigan and the had a couple Manco big wheels and the ole guy was really cool. He let my buddy and me take them out one afternoon and let me tell you, they were a blast they can cross any stream and just crawl up the rocks and sand hills! I had no idea how fun those type bikes could be! I had a 79 RM125 and that Manco could devastate it on the trails!
Wow the USA is dirt bike heaven ...how you keep finding these as new bikes is beyond belief...here in UK we can only dream of stuff like this well done all...👌👌👌
Most of these Honda, Husqvarna, and Montessa from this collection were bought new and stored in heated storage. The Penton even has John Penton's signature. Somebody with alot of money collected these in the 60's, 70's = 50-60yrs ago so that person is at least 70yrs old to 80yrs+ and selling his collection. Even museums don't have bikes this nice. =If you always wanted a super-sweet OEM bike now is the time. May take some time getting it to Europe, but definitely worth it. -Or you can wait 10-20yrs and see if you get lucky. Prices for the bikes are going up though.
My heart sank when I saw that Moto X Fox CR250... that was the trickest bike ever when that came out... what butte. I owned a that exact style Husky too, my first 25O a 78-79 always had leaky fork seals a Husky trait for sure... GREAT batch of bikes.
What a batch of beauties, one of my favorite videos. Like you struck a gold mine. That 1976 Honda CR125 looks exactly like the one I had. Thought I was wanting a silver tank Elsinore and I do love them but seeing that red 1976 Honda CR125 made me fall in love with it all over again! What a beauty and I was so proud to own one. That RM250 was beautiful also, I can remember Suzuki having the green with yellow. One of my friends had a Suzuki tm75 and I remember green Suzuki graphics on the tank.
Great boss advice , guys have your gun with you ! Makes sense with gems like that all around . Cop on the way stops nothing like a bullet then and there . Old bikes are just so cool and fun.
I had a rokon, the engine was toast so we grafted a Kawi 90 frame section into it, THEN it was sweet, 5 speed Rokon. WOW we had all those back in the day! Nice collection. OMG the 125, WOW.
I had major withdrawal issues when I saw this episode....Thankyou so much from a 63 yr young man, that used to drive some of those very bikes.

We had one when I was young. It was a beast ! It would literally idle up a mountain. Loved that Rokon
I rode a Manco which is basically same thing. Those Rokon/Mancos are awsome trail scooters!
I mostly grew up in the States but my parents were Brit's. Dad rode BSA's & Triumphs, I rode Rickman's and pentons. This channel makes me so "HAPPY"
This is heaven to me, the dream hoard. The moto fox CR looks awesome. Those twin shocks and that beautiful air cooled motor are just stunning, What a machine!! I love the penton KTM also. I love them all. Every single one is incredible!!!
