Awsome and detailed. Thank you. Just one thing --FANS--- Your fans bring in air. Did you make holes for air outflow or does the air have to fight it's way out? You will have more airflow if you do an exhaust for the air.

If you still love this set up I’m literally going to buy the motors , couplers and hitch pins with female adapter today! And thank you so much for responding, I’m rebuilding my set up completely and now I’m able to buy everything today. You are a life saver! Keep up the great work! Thanks again...❤️
Hi 👋🏾 Yes, the arms in the back are spares. It's a drying rack area for cups that have just been spray painted or are ready to finish curing. They aren't connected to any power.
Hi! Far from a pro lol but here's the link for the fans, got em on Amazon: www.amazon.com/dp/B07CZRKTBZ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_WR5QWYNSNSXFS9AG9MSV?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Thank you! They fit all of the cups I work with. But I know for a fact there are a few larger tumblers that it won't fit. I am hoping to do an update video before month end to give more insight into how the arms have been working.
If you want super cheap and don't mind waiting, go straight to the source and order from Alibaba. China is where all the US sellers cups are manufactured anyways. If you're looking for decent priced in the states I would join a FB group like Tumbler Hacks 101, search where to buy tumblers, there's many posts about it and lots of ppl give different companies. I personally get mine from The Stainless Steel Depot. I've never had an unsolvable issue with them. I know there are other companies and I've been told they're maybe $1 or $2 cheaper, but I like the variety of cups and the prices are reasonable.
You're welcome :) I used the plumbing parts because I saw them being used in some fb groups I'm in and decided to give it a try. Honestly, I'm not disappointed. I've had to make some adjustments (which I'm hoping to do an update video for soon). But they're working out perfectly. The biggest benefit is that I don't have to replace them or dry them out when they get wet, like when hydrodipping.
Hi, for the time being I stick the coupling all the way inside the cup, and I cut the rim for the donut. I haven't found a suitable replacement that gives me the sturdiness of the coupling without having to force it in, particularly when working with skinnies. I am elbow deep in carnival right now, but once it's finished I planned to do a update video.
Thank you! Apologies on that, I mentioned it right as I finished speaking on the arms because I realized I'd forgotten 🤦🏾♀️ Each piece is 5.25 inches :)

@@norademsky9716 www.amazon.com/dp/B07CZRKTBZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_HJSNcmRnHtiXS These are the fans I used. But there's many to choose from. These just didn't break the bank, so to speak.
If you put bees wax or a quality furniture paste wax in the saddle of your support peice it won't make that noise or shutter. As another comment said please tie all your green wires together with the power cord ground. The way it is wired would work if you made a metal case. Otherwise, great job!
Ma'am, tie your grounds together and to the plug ground please. Wood isn't a good enough conductor to worry about a shock, but those switches could be.
@@DesignsByAngee Exactly, the switch housing is most likely steel, as well as the motor casing. For the system to be super safe, I'd recommend tying the ground to the motor casings and switches. Then if there is a short it goes to ground not you.
@@jimmymckracken305 Ahh ok. I had a general idea, but didn't know exactly what I was doing when wiring everything🙈 Next time I go in there I will get those wires connected to the plug ground wire. Thank you 🙏🏾

I believe someone answered this previously in the comments. You can extend a piece of pipe from the motor to the front board to find where to cut out. As this was my first time building a turner some things were guesswork. This was one of those things lol
Maybe I keep missing it but how do you have your pipes screwing in and out so easy? Also If you want to mount your holders on top you can use (home depot) 3/4 in. Insulating Suspension Pipe Clamp by Oatey Model #33583 Store SKU #671016 Gorilla Heavy Duty GorillaWeld Steel Bond 2-Part Epoxy Gray - 433010 but I didn't scuff my pvc and now I think I should have. I'll know tomorrow LOL. Also 24 in. Rip-Cut Aluminum Circular Saw Guide by kreg. If you are making a table out of saw horses and 3/4"-4'x8' plywood grab you a 2"-4'x8' foam board (I use owens corning FOAMULAR 250). Then with my guide on my saw I set the saw 1/8-1/4 below my cutting piece. This cuts into the foamboard but doesnt hurt anything and you cut all the way through with a straight line. I'm using a currant switch in mine to turn the fan on. Any time a turner comes on it will detect amp and automatically turn on my fan. You have to be carful which you get, some can read 120vac but only output 24vdc or 24vac. So if your fan is 120vac you need one that will switch 120vac. amazon has the CrocSee Miniature Current Switch, CS-TS0, Normally Open Amp Sensor Monitoring Relay, AC 1-50A Detectable. It has a max of 2.5A load that it can output. so most fans are like .5 or less but check what you have. It is really simple to use. This way my fan is only on when a motor is running and I don't have to think about it.
You mean the assembly of the arms or how I screw in the arm to the turner?? For the assembly of the arms, pvc glue makes it very easy to screw in all the way, before it dries. Screwing the arm into the turner tho, I'm not doing anything special, just screwing it in normal lol 🤷🏾♀️ I didn't think about mounting the back arms on top until I was finished and realized where it was gonna be placed 🤦🏾♀️ But they're good for now 😊
PLEASE connect all the green wires together and run them to the green on the power cord, just like you did with the white wires!!!!! As wood does not conduct electricity, this unit is NOT grounded.
Hi, I'm sorry I don't have courses. Honestly RUclips and trial & error are my best teachers. Don't hesitate to jump right in, no one is perfect when they first start out. And it's perfectly ok to start small and build. I started out with a manual hand crank turner cuz I had little money. We all start somewhere 😊💖
The one I frequent the most is Tumbler Hacks 101. I'm also in Tumbler Tutorials & More. For products I use, I'm in The Glitter Guy, Tumblerpoxy, and The Stainless Steel Depot. I only mention those because (1) if you're using a particular product being in their FB group can help in quickly finding product specific answers to questions you may have and (2) ppl in the groups are usually pretty good about answering any other questions you may have. Hope this helps
What is the purpose of the support pieces? Are they necessary, couldn't you just have the base without the support pieces? Can you tell I have never built anything in my life? Ha!
The sides of the housing sit on the support pieces. Its also there to rest the sides of a cover on top of. That's something I plan to add to my turner at some point. You could very well do a build without the supports, you'd just need to make sure to adjust the measurements accordingly.
Thank you for your tutorial but you're going to get yourself and others injured by the simple fact of your ground AKA your green wire are not connected to the green wire on the wire connected to your outlet if it was a metal case that you had the motorist or the switches in then you can ground it directly straight to the body but it's wood what is not a conductor unless wet then yes so do yourself a favor and I hope I they see this make sure that you ground the green wires and Junction with one another so they can react to the green wire of the main plug plug it into the wall but again thank you for your tutorial otherwise
Thank you for your input 😊 Someone else gave the same advice in the comments previously and I did respond to them that I would heed their advice. WOW! What an amazing tutorial!! I will be attempting to build this week! Thank you so much for taking the time to get all of the details. This was so in-depth! You are awesome!!! Do you happen to have the link to the power cord you purchased on Amazon?

Great Job!!! Love the way it turned out.
Thank you! 😊
Girl thank you! The way you hammered in the coupler and used the hitch pin, is that still working for you?? I’m not having any luck doing it the basic way, the way most ppl show in their vids. If you still love this set up I’m literally going to buy the motors , couplers and hitch pins with female adapter today! Also if you still recommend this method, could I put a bit of gorilla glue where the coupler was hammered in?? Thank you for this video! Your turner is beautiful!!!
Hi :) Yes the coupling & hitchpin are still holding strong. Gorilla glue isn't a bad idea at all, always good to have a fail safe 🙌🏾
@@DesignsByAngee you are an amazing soul! This technique seems to be so much easier and stronger than any others I’ve seen and tried! And thank you so much for responding, I’m rebuilding my set up completely and now I’m able to buy everything today. You are a life saver! Keep up the great work! Thanks again...❤️
@@brittanibunte-thornblom352 You are quite welcome! I'm very happy I could help ☺ Good luck on your re-build! 😊💖
Very impressive! I'm sorry if I missed it. Are the arms in the back just spares? Are they hooked to the power?
Hi 👋🏾 Yes, the arms in the back are spares. It's a drying rack area for cups that have just been spray painted or are ready to finish curing.
They aren't connected to any power.
Can you please tell me where to get the fans for cooling . This was an excellent video. You are a pro.
Hi! Far from a pro lol but here's the link for the fans, got em on Amazon: www.amazon.com/dp/B07CZRKTBZ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_WR5QWYNSNSXFS9AG9MSV?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Great job! I just did one and it needs revamping, you just solved my problems! Curious tho, do those rubber ends fit in all the different cups?
Thank you!
They fit all of the cups I work with. But I know for a fact there are a few larger tumblers that it won't fit. I am hoping to do an update video before month end to give more insight into how the arms have been working.
And I'm happy I could help :)
with all respect that you reserve, you are beautiful,, also Thank you for share your tutorial.
Thank you 🙏🏾 And you're welcome 😊
Love this video in planning to make this which smart switch did u use? Thanks
Hi, Treatlife smart switch from Amazon
Great video.
I need to know where to get cups and stuff on the cheap
If you want super cheap and don't mind waiting, go straight to the source and order from Alibaba. China is where all the US sellers cups are manufactured anyways.
If you're looking for decent priced in the states I would join a FB group like Tumbler Hacks 101, search where to buy tumblers, there's many posts about it and lots of ppl give different companies.
I personally get mine from The Stainless Steel Depot. I've never had an unsolvable issue with them. I know there are other companies and I've been told they're maybe $1 or $2 cheaper, but I like the variety of cups and the prices are reasonable.
Thanks for the tutorial. Question why did you use the doughnut and couplings instead of the foam footballs"
You're welcome :)
I used the plumbing parts because I saw them being used in some fb groups I'm in and decided to give it a try. Honestly, I'm not disappointed. I've had to make some adjustments (which I'm hoping to do an update video for soon). But they're working out perfectly. The biggest benefit is that I don't have to replace them or dry them out when they get wet, like when hydrodipping.
Could you share a link for those fans? Great build! Thanks for sharing

What smart switches did you buy and fans
Hello, good night.
-Single pole TREATLIFE smart light switch
-AC infinity axial LS1238 quiet muffin fan 120mm
Both on Amazon
Thank You. It looks great
You're welcome & Thank you 😊
On the smart light switches can you also turn them off like a regular light switch or do you have to use the app?
You can turn them on and off like normal. I really use the app to set timers and only do the on/off if I'm too lazy to do it manually.
thanx for the video, Im goin to make on for my daughter, SlowJo
You're welcome :)
I use to use the flexible couplings but its hard to get the top rim of the cup if you go all the way to the top. do you have any suggestions"
Best video I've seen. I did not see the size you cut down the pvc for you arms.
Thank you! Apologies on that, I mentioned it right as I finished speaking on the arms because I realized I'd forgotten 🤦🏾♀️ Each piece is 5.25 inches :)

These are the fans I used.
Thanks for the tips :)

Ma'am, tie your grounds together and to the plug ground please. Wood isn't a good enough conductor to worry about a shock, but those switches could be.
As in a fire could spark or that it could shock me when I use a switch??
@@DesignsByAngee Exactly, the switch housing is most likely steel, as well as the motor casing. For the system to be super safe, I'd recommend tying the ground to the motor casings and switches. Then if there is a short it goes to ground not you.
@@jimmymckracken305 Ahh ok. I had a general idea, but didn't know exactly what I was doing when wiring everything🙈 Next time I go in there I will get those wires connected to the plug ground wire. Thank you 🙏🏾
@@DesignsByAngee Your Welcome ma'am. Thank you for sharing your art!
with the fans, do you have one pulling air in and one pulling air out?
I have both pulling heat out. I reached out to the seller I bought them from and they said exhausting the heat away from the motors is the proper application.

I just heard u say it's not 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤣🤣🤣
How do you measure the holes on the front base to align with the PVC pipes ?
I'm not sure why my reply won't post :/
I believe someone answered this previously in the comments. You can extend a piece of pipe from the motor to the front board to find where to cut out. As this was my first time building a turner some things were guesswork. This was one of those things lol
Also where to buy the power cord and extra wire
Power cord from Amazon
Extra wire from Home Depot
Very smart!
Thank you 🙏🏾😊
Where did u get the motors?
Hi, Amazon
Also the fans thabks
Fans from Amazon
What is the name of the switches you used?
Hi. Here's the link to the ones I bought off Amazon
www.amazon.com/dp/B07SB5RW14/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_Q73YT8DET9ZHFXP5HTMR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Awesome
Ty kindly :)
Maybe I keep missing it but how do you have your pipes screwing in and out so easy?
Also If you want to mount your holders on top you can use (home depot) 3/4 in. Insulating Suspension Pipe Clamp by Oatey Model #33583 Store SKU #671016
Gorilla Heavy Duty GorillaWeld Steel Bond 2-Part Epoxy Gray - 433010 but I didn't scuff my pvc and now I think I should have.
Screwing the arm into the turner tho, I'm not doing anything special, just screwing it in normal lol 🤷🏾♀️
I didn't think about mounting the back arms on top until I was finished and realized where it was gonna be placed 🤦🏾♀️ But they're good for now 😊
Nice
Thank you!
PLEASE connect all the green wires together and run them to the green on the power cord, just like you did with the white wires!!!!! As wood does not conduct electricity, this unit is NOT grounded.
Hi, thank you. This has been mentioned a few times in the comments and has already been addressed 😊
Awesome sooo how can I pay for one made 😂😍
🤣 I'm sure it have plenty people on Etsy that makes them. This is too labor-intensive for me to start selling tho.
I'm new to your channel I really want to open my business I'm a mother of 6 and it's been hard. Do you have course's?
Hi, I'm sorry I don't have courses. Honestly RUclips and trial & error are my best teachers. Don't hesitate to jump right in, no one is perfect when they first start out. And it's perfectly ok to start small and build. I started out with a manual hand crank turner cuz I had little money. We all start somewhere 😊💖
❤️💯👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
What groups hook a brotha up😁
The one I frequent the most is Tumbler Hacks 101.
Your ground wire is not grounded..
So I've been told in previous comments and it's been addressed 😉
Very interesting video. Very attractive lady.
Thank you
What is the purpose of the support pieces? Are they necessary, couldn't you just have the base without the support pieces? Can you tell I have never built anything in my life? Ha!
The sides of the housing sit on the support pieces. Its also there to rest the sides of a cover on top of. That's something I plan to add to my turner at some point.
You could very well do a build without the supports, you'd just need to make sure to adjust the measurements accordingly.
@@DesignsByAngee thank you!!!
@@bethwinger6457 You're welcome :)
Hopefully those watching will see either of your comments, or do as I suggested in the video and get the wiring done by a professional. Again thank you, it's greatly appreciated 🙏🏾🙌🏾
