    I would love to see the addition of Air RB EC. Even if its just for weekends like Naval but having a longer form of Air RB would be really nice.

      It would also help the strike aircraft and bombers, because at the moment nearly all matches end because one team looses all its aircrafts and bombing bases doesn't win the game.

      Literally - i think even just sim battles but with Air RB mechanics like mouse aim and name tags would be so much better than current RB

    My takes:
    1- Option to turn off the "Mach Cone". It's good looking the first time you see it. It's insanely annoying after that, especially if it gets you slammed into the ground whilst trying to dodge radar missiles or throws off your aim because it decided to show at the exact moment you got into range of the enemy plane.
    2- Removal of the stupid 6v6 matches around the 6.0 Battle Rating bracket.
    3- Speaking of 6v6, lower player counts at higher tiers. We have way too many powerful missiles flying around top tier and only 60 (or 30 if you're carrying chaff) countermeasures to deal with them. Top tier should have smaller numbers to promote more BVR and dogfights instead of the moronic furballs we have currently. 16v16 works better with props and non-missile equipped jets.
    4- Well this wouldn't be a proper list if it didn't mention DECOMPRESSION now, would it?
    5- Oh and a revamp of Air RB wouldn't hurt as well. Maybe implementing Air RB EC for good. Strike aircraft and bomber are 9 out of 10 times a liability to the team. Let them be actually useful.
    6- Tied to the suggestion above, ERADICATE the ticket bleed caused by AI. We are playing a damn PvP game. It's the players who should influence the outcome of matches, not stupid bots murdering each other.
    I think that's about it...

      I was playing the TA-152 H-1 a few days ago I was carrying my team with 4 kills and was closing in on their last guy when he killed a single ground target and then I killed him, he won because the tickets drained in his favor even though the enemy team was all dead

    I have seen F-18s take off on a gray and wet day..
    The afterburner flames was almost half the lenght of the plane, it looked so awesome.
    In normal daylight you can hardly see the flames.

    Well, what you suggested is very jet-focused. The only real change I would like to see is them addressing the Ju288 situation. And the Wyvern. All those overused planes. And ideally a artificial horizon in 3rd person for those pesky clouds.

      Grinded the F4U-7 to rocket pod them on the short runway and had one small 288 game in the last I think 8 days. Maybe that's the trick. I want those 6v6 back.

    I would love to see a complete overhaul of air battles in general, and have multiple targets/objectives spread across the entire map. We are always forced in a small area

    Two major things for me:
    1. Fix bombers. They should not be paper and literal maxed out AI gunners should be able to do more than get one hit before you’re dead
    2. Fix getting only uptiers for US ranks 5 and 6, especially 8.3 and 9.3

      I agree with you, flying bombers sucks and the door gunner don't do a thing. I hope they add door gunners to the BlackHawk I mean the real ones except Medevac version have it so why not. It'll be real cool and very good in Helicopter PVE.

      I know it’s not really fair to compare the two but If you have ever watched a bomber get hit in DCS they are like tanks! In war thunder everything just explodes, unless your in a SU-25….

      I’m only OK with this if we completely remove the third person camera for gunner views, it kills sim gameplay since a player just has to fly straight and watch a RUclips video in the background and they can collect kill after kill with zero effort or skill.

    Regarding what could get added to the stat card I would say that for missiles there’s a lot of information that can get added. For example the amount of time it takes for the missile to start tracking, when the proxy-fuse gets activated, gimblelimit etc. The stat card we have as of now is often really misleading when it comes to missiles IMO

    At the very least we need to be able to see the weight of aircraft. Especially when I was new, I had no idea how significant the weight of ordinance would be because I never had the weight of the aircraft to compare it to. I still don't really have a good idea of how it works until I fly out a loadout myself, which isn't possible until I unlock it.

    id love them to add the runway arrestor wires to acutally make landing with gear on the F-16s that doesnt have the MLUs chute, it would also give it some meaning and reduce turnaround time

    I think with these Air RB larger maps, strike aircraft need their air spawn back, at least some of them like the Su25 - 39.

    I would love if there was a CAS plane only mode similar to the helicopter PvE mode so you can grind your CAS plane without having to deal with being constantly slapped out of the sky by fighters going for easy kills

    I miss having carrier take offs. Ever since they added realistic physics to water and ships though, you were always gambling on whether you'd just rubber band off the carrier and get a crew lock or actually get to take off though.
    Hell, there's still a problem with it in Test Drive where it won't always catapult you. I hope we get to see these re-introduced at some point. :(

    I wish they would fix the A-10, It can't stand a hit from anything, while the SU-25 still flying after taking 3 Stinger to the face.
    Plus, they need to let us actually use the FreeRPs, more vehicles are coming and starting a new nation is not the fun.

    Don't play air battles much but fully agree with air spawn for test drives, I seem to waste so much time taking off then trying to get up to speed to find out how the plane feels

    I want to select the amount of flares and the series aswell as the bomb delay to be unique for every plane much like the fuel amount.
    I hate it that you have to set your delay manually if you are using a different kind of aircraft.
    For example if im using a P47 and bombing from like 20m away compared to using an A-10 with LGBs that i can drop from 5000m out.

    legit every single new jet i get, i immediately go to find a new userskin to apply. not because i dislike the ingame skins, but so i can implement any custom afterburner texture and be rid of that awful ingame stock one lol

    I think they need to completely redo GRB and ARB, at least for top tier. As it is right now GRB in particular isn’t working and has gotten stale. It seems like gaijin is going for a more combined arms direction now days and I think they should do more with that rather than just CAS in GRB. Bigger maps longer matches, actual objectives that give you good rewards etc. Make kills more valuable rather than trying to get as many kills as you can like it’s call of duty.

      i think the afterburner 'stage' that we have in game is actually a bug that gaijin just doesnt remove because its only beneficial

    i must say all of these are really good ideas in particular the amount of time it takes bomb bases to respawn this really hampers aircraft like the A-10, Su-25 if you have bombs strapped to that, A-7D, the slower subsonic attackers that cant win the race the bomb points against things like Su-7s, F-111s, harriers, F-105s, Kfirs, Milans etc, so in the slower machines you get there and your just loitering around (in particular if you have a base bombing task for battlepass) and in the mean time your team dies and you get hunted, or their team dies or an enemy A-10 just murders your tickets while the bases take their sweet ass time to come back, sure you could go for the ground targets but thats generally a death sentence in a subsonic attacker most of which fight supersonics unless your team has the advantage then your all good, if i remember correctly rocky pillars used to have near instant base respawns when it first came out and as far as i could tell that didnt affect gameplay all that much, it also allowed all the guys to get their bombs out and then either go back to base or go after enemy aircraft, they could just adjust the amount of tickets accordingly or the amount of tickets bases drop from a teams ticket count, bombing bases is far more effective rp and sl wise than bombing ground targets as it stands right now, for expample my A-10A late on spain i bombed and gunned down 27 ground targets (i was after thunderer award for a task) and all that much destruction got me was 5,500 rp

    Gaijin needs to start making changes to the gameplay, because there's very little they can add to the game and they are clearly running out of ideas seeing how they are adding copy/paste rank 8 premium tanks.
    Gaijin also needs to start making new games, because War Thunder is their only cash cow and players' good will is drying up.
    I really hope Gaijin goes bankrupt by 2030.

      going bankrupt is not the solution lol, they need to actually play the game or listen to community feedback and gaijin do have more games such as Crossout and Enlisted. They need to show us that they care about the game they are making and care about the people who play the things they create

      Star conflict, Crossout, enlisted,CRSED, and a new Modern Warships mobile game.
      (and their scummy business practice is present in all 6 of them by the way, gaijin will never change unless we put them out of business)

      ​@@cookiecracker2 Their games are mostly dead my dude. Let's compare War Thunder to other games of theirs:
      Star Conflict is a dead game with only 1/10 of War Thunder's players online
      Crossout is a dead game with only 1/10 of War Thunder's players online
      CRSED: F.O.A.D is a VERY dead game with only 179 players currently active right now. This is trully pathetic even for Gaijin.
      Enlisted is not even on Steam, and knowing how poorly War Thunder performed before I expect it to perform equally bad. In the end, it's just a clone of Hell Let Loose or Post Scriptum with extra monetization and bots.
      Modern Warships is not even a Gaijin game, they didn't make it, they just publish it.
      The only game that might become the new cash cow is the War Thunder mobile because they can easily turn it into an even bigger gacha game and the mobile game community will eat it up. But it still means War Thunder on desktop will become less of a priority for them.

    The only change I agree with you about is the an engine rewrite. Calling the code "spaghetti" is offensive to pasta. Fixing the engine needs to be done before anything else.

    New modes. Ai infantry in PVE heli. Transport and support them around to assault bases and capture/defend points. War thunder take on a heliborne style mode

    It would be pretty nice if Gaijin didn't copy and paste cockpits, fix bombers, and make them actually useful to give the B-29 there actual computerized targeting systems one more thing they need to do is replace the stat cards since the replacement ones are souless as hell and they need to bring back animated crew members onto the carriers. Something I always loved cause it made you feel like a pilot on a naval ship not some player playing a video game.

    Top tier air RB overhaul!
    Playing 16vs16 deathmatch with mach 2 capable jets together with 30G+ thrust vectoring IRCCM missiles in a massive furball makes the game awful to play. And with the addition of more advanced fox-3 missiles this will just get worse!
    My solution to this would be:
    * Reduce the number of players in each game to 12vs12
    * Increase the map size (EC)
    * Give attackers the ability to spawn on a closer airfield so they have some form of use
    * Maybe multiple airfields to choose from to spread out players?
    * BR-decompression at top tier (I bet it’s not fun getting killed by a aim9M/R-73/soon to be aim-120 in a Phantom)
    TL:DR : Reduce player numbers in games, EC for air RB, BR-decompression for top tier.

    They should really fix contrails, you should be able to fly above where they can be created but in game you cannot, which makes climbing even less viable.

    I know a lot of people don't play AB, but I do mainly and one thing that is so irritating is when you get a team comprised of people who bought a high tier premium but own no other planes at that BR. They get wiped out early and I'm left to play on a team with only two or three other aircraft vs a team with eight or nine because your teammates don't have any other competitive planes to respawn in. I wish they'd make matchmaking take into account the number of aircraft at the BR a person has so that the teams are more balanced in terms of respawns.

    I’ve always wanted a 1v1 mode, it would allow you to enjoy a longer drawn out dogfight without the risk of being third partied. This would also let you hone your playstyle with x aircraft against y aircraft

    my list
    #1 bring back naval aspect to air matches, carriers, ships and boat stuff, this will allow us to play torpedo armed aircraft and naval aircraft in general
    #2 a revamp to ground targets in air rb in particular bomb points, the generic base bomb point has been in game for years now and is past its used by date, i would like to see things like airfield, train yards, submarine pens, tank factories, aircraft factories even power plants and such for strike jets and bombers to attack, this would probably need a ticket adjustment
    #3 introduction of cold war era jet bombers, these would work with these targets listed above, and these targets would also allow smaller interdiction bombers like Yak-28B to able to do some damage (since it cant in any way take out a base with its bomb loads), air rb EC maps would also allow these cold war bombers with their incredible bomb loads to work if not intercepted and we have more then enough capable and fast enough interceptors to counter these cold war bombers especially with the likes of the IR and rader guided missiles that will no doubt be around these battleratings these machines would be at
    #4 enough with the cloud cover right down to 50 meters above the ground targets
    #5 dont put ground targets in the center of the map what happened to the maps with ground targets off to the left and right of the map, these are no where to be seen in jet matches all we get are the maps designed to instigate the furball in the middle of the map this has been the case since the stone ages and it needs changing, spread targets all over the map not the just in the middle, if an enemy fighter wants to come out and stop you any player worth his salt will do so

    1. SL modifiers based on aircraft role. Spending the battle ground-pounding as fighter should result in net SL loss. Also, the same net SL loss should happen when using a bomber as dogfighter.
    2. Stronger, more valuable ground targets to high tiers that require AGM's etc to kill with approriate SL/RP rewards, not the current let's remove hard targets when there's A-10's flying around.
    3. Ticket loss should be based on aircraft class, Luftwaffe considered bombers to be 4 times as valuable as fighter, this should be true to game as well.
    4. Spread out the ground targets to larger area based on the tier in fashion of the old France 1944 style map layout (airfields separated in corners to prevent camping and ground targets in multiple separate areas)
    5. Decompress the 8.0-10.0 range, gun-armed 1940-50's jets should never meet 1970's+ jets with advanced missiles

    We do already have wingtip vortices. To easily see them stall out in a prop or turn really sharply in a biplane.

    Introducing airspawn for every aircraft would be another nail in the coffin for bombers. Granted it doesn't make a difference now that they've been essentially killed, but especially at top tier you're losing seconds in the match by having to takeoff

    The American 50 cals need to be fixed, especially the incendiary rounds, and a lot of US aircraft need to be moved in BRs, some aircraft are in spots they cannot compete in (P-51D-5 comes to mind)

    that crew lock is so stupid for ground battles too. you get crew locked for saving yourself for getting into minus SL by leaving a battle where your team gets spawncamped after 4 min and then get crew locked.

    actual dynamic weather in Air Sim would be nice. Instead of an eternal layer of cloud specifically over the airfield, or a thunderstorm in one part of the map in particular that prevents people from playing CAS or bombing ships.

    No mention to automatic constant ticket bleed. Why this game has two game timers with one being random? I know that in top tier it is irrelevant, since average game time is 5 minutes, but in prop era games end with about 1/2 - 1/3 players still alive on both sides. I would also like 40 minute game time limit. This will allow for more tactical air combat, rather than a head-on dogfight fest it is right now.

      A problem with bigger time limits is, at lower brs, the annoying bomber zombies will just bomb once, then climb into space until the end of the match, without needing to refuel because of the amount of fuel they have (some almost have 2 hours of fuel at minimum)

      @@atomev8 I’ve never run into a space climber in RB, ever. I don’t think they’re much of an issue when most (non-strike aircraft) bombers die after trying to out speed strike aircraft and fighters to bases

      @@Iden_in_the_Rain you don't run into them NOW. but when the crafting event is going, having a lobby without them especially in me-264 range is impossible. this is why we lost the old 1 hour time limit, because gaijin's best solving solution is to make it worse for everyone than actually formulating a plan

    Telling you the missile thrust energy, it tells you the launch range (I.E 18km on the 9J) but that isn’t all that useful when the effective range is a fraction of that

    My #1 is just bring back Week's Latest Decals :(( They were nice as someone who played maybe 4-7 days any given month and they felt like mini events to get some actually cool looking decals. Ik the BPs have "Historic" Decals but that is literally months worth of grind as opposed to doing 1 task in a day to get a decal. Plus they were 200 get and gave me something to spend my GE on that I always have left over from holiday sales.

    1:07 you can have the informations of the amount of fuel and the exact % of throttle if you open a map of the game on your browser. It's not worth doing it in realistic but it helps in sim

    1. I like the current unrealistic afterburner asthetic, so make that an option to turn on / off.
    2. Fuel indicator can be seen using WRTI (War Thunder Real Time Information), I'd rather Gaijin put resources elsewhere
    3. I'd like wing vorticies as well.
    4. Not sure what you're talking about TBH.
    5. ""Server stability has been improved"" -- Gaijin on every it's fixed
    6. Thrust to weight changes depending on a variety of factors such as speed and altitude (espeically when it comes to jets)
    7. Flare and Chaff keybinds would be nice... but my poor mouse is running out of room for new binds ;(

    Independent chaff/flare would bee huge.
    And I always thought it was funny how they renewed/added new carrier models then NUKED all water maps out of the game. If i worked for Gaijin and worked on those Carrier models (or any naval models) I'd be pissed that they weren't utilized.

    In ground RB, I want people to get locked out from matchmaking if they one death quit. Its gotten absolutely ridiculous lately, to the point where I have gone from a couple matches of leniency to one warning then lockouts.
    Its ridiculous, most often happening in TECH TREE vehicles too. Like Magach Hydra, Sherridan, Bradley, and the first US M60 are all things I saw across two matches last night.

    Roll rate. Currently the only useful info on the stat card is climb rate. Top speed is never the actual top speed. turn rate is never the actual turn rate. But since they are all there why not have roll rate. That's an important bit of info.

    Bigger maps for near top tier would be so much better for both rb and sim. Im tired of these constant close in IR missile fights, with no room to move. Even the biggest map in the game is "small" for aircraft in those tiers

    Air spawns are a no but I would love to see having a choice in take-off locations. Give each side 2 or 3 runways to take off from with the exception of strike aircraft. They should be allowed air spawns since they’re already burdened by payload.
    Maybe give some objectives like in the really large maps but increase the rewards for completing them to help encourage players to not focus solely on zooming towards the other side to die in the first minute of the match.

      thing is we lost airspawn for attackers becauseit ranges from literal prop-speed A-10, to the blazingly fast F-111, to might-as-well-be-fighter Su-17 and harriers. they're all in 10.3 range

    one general point of frustration I have with War Thunder is the fact that a lot of iconic vehicles (especially American aircraft) are only in the premium tree (F4D, F11F, F89, A6, etc). I think that any vehicle that was mass produced (~20 or more produced) should be available in the tech tree. Premium and event vehicles should only be one-off prototypes or niche variants of existing vehicles. Also, can we stop adding lend-lease vehicles? Sim battles are unplayable right now and the reason is that everyone is in the same vehicle. As for future additions to the game, I really think it's a shame that the gameplay of war thunder is so restrictive that we will likely never see cold war strategic bombers and interceptors (Fishpot, Voodoo, Vulcan, Bear, etc).

    The "cloud" while moving would just be in rhe way just like the mach cloud. And even with the reduced time that the mach clouds are present they are still annoying as hell. I wish we could turn them off.

    No1 Fix in WT - Fix BR Compression!!
    No2 Fix what planes/tanks are in a BR - There are far to many aircraft BR'd incorrectly and when uptiered have no chance. Lets face it being uptiered is more the rule not the exception these days as the player base gets smaller.
    Played with you/against you a few times (got some ex-guildies in your Squadron)

    The formula is working . . . . for them. They know it could be improved in so many areas, because they've jumped to the juicy profitable stuff every time. BY POPULAR DEMAND! Map design and game setups are the main areas of neglect. Hope you all enjoy playing those exciting, expensive top tier jets on maps that don't ever get developed, in games that never improve.

    I dont know if is still there but when Usa and Japan ( air rb) only fights against eachother then they will get some pacific maps which where awsome well not for the Us bombers atleast because the US team had only carrier to rearm.

    Stat cards are pretty inaccurate. Turn radius at different ias like for example f8u-2 650ias is the best turn radius speed.
