The .260 Remington is probably one of the most underrated rounds out there. I think it's flawless. Especially for where I live in south Texas. From whitetail to 300+ pound hogs it gets the job done beautifully everytime
Really appreciate your true honesty in your videos mainly on that first animal i see alot of TV shows in NZ that are just so fabricated on the shot side of things. The heads always a challenge especially because its probably the one thing that moves more often than anything else ive made many long range fails going for the head its almost like there's more nervousness on the shot or something love the content man cant wait to go to south africa for some longrange hunting cheers matt!!
Hey Matt, loved the video. I'm glad i went with a 6-24 helix for my 6.5 creedmoor. Awesome quality and well worth the price. Can't wait for some more awesome videos. Keep up the work. ZA
Sign me up my kind of hunting and fishing. Yes you are very blessed to be able to have Adventure on those kind of properties. I like that it's real chill
Awesome video Matt wow it is beautiful there 😍 Paradise ..... great job on the hunt I've never tried Impala maybe one day I'll get to thanks for sharing bsafe buddy 👍
Sweet. I have been hunting with. 260 Remington for over 20 years. I own 2 Browning A-Bolt Hunters, 1 Browning A-Bolt Stainless Stalker and 2 AR-10 .260 Remington builds that I personally built. It is my favorite medium size cartridge. I also load my own ammunition so I get amazing results from all my .260 rifles. Nice to see someone that realizes the true potential of that cartridge. Here in the USA it's a good up between the .260 Remington and the 6.5 Creedmoor. I'll take the .260 any day. Also, what was the last tune played in this video? It was really nice. It starts at 13:07 in the video.
Another awesome one Matt! Good going getting these videos out with all the other stuff going on in ur life! Some info I'd love to hear from you is what kind of magnification you would have your scope set at for different length shots! I am getting my first hunting rifle.
Over here in the USA most of our Impalas have 20 inch blades on them. I see that's not the case over in SA, but you're obviously still a shot-caller! 🤣 Cheers, Matt. Beautiful footage once again and we all appreciate your content!
Thank-you for showing real footage and not that edited crap we get from other channels! We can learn from one anothers mistakes thank you again, awsome hunt! I am curious why you take alot of game , small game with air guns but when you hunt bigger gamebyou go to firearms? Take care God bless! Stay safe! 🇺🇸 Chicago My wife is from Zimbabwe and we will be traveling there within the year, can you recommend any outfitters, or safari hunts there ?
Shooting off those shooting sticks could have been more stable with a shooting bag on top of the shooting sticks. Rifle on top of that. Move the rifle closer to bottom floor plate for a better point of balance. Support hand up on top of the scope on the objective lens. Little bit lower so you can have a wider stance.
Hermoso fusil siempre admiro los paisajes dónde concurre u mueve lo felicito y admiro sus equipos de caza tanto armas como pcp saludos desde argentina por muchas cazerias más siempre !!!

My wife is from Zimbabwe and we will be traveling there within the year, can you recommend any outfitters, or safari hunts there ?
The airguns he usually shoots are comparable in energy to a 22lr, so it’s just way less powerful than most traditional rifle cartridges
The 260 is a perfect calibre for impala. You could have used your 300winmag also.
I agree beautiful country.
What bullet did you use? I just bought the 4-16x44 Helix. My 3rd Element.
Man, I would like to visit that area!

hello mett you are great thanks for This vidio Lover from Pakistan 😉
probably been asked this but in the USA we never take head shots. Is there an advantage to the head shots there?
Only advantage of it is you dont lose any meat but it is tricky shots to pulloff if you dont know what your doing
Luke came on after a long time
