Yeah you are absolutely right the fish was extremely exhausted and there are no big enough pools to revive him it was actually my call to keep it for the pot it actually fed X5 families. The sharks were full up on the point so if we did release it the sharks would have taken it out . Sorry for not editing it out.
@@dwaynegraham2817,hi the guy's at the point (light house) thier liveys got eaten by sharks ,the Garrick was hooked and landed at first rocks that is if I am right and at that time very close or if not part of the opening of the river. So I was not prepared to try and stay in that rough surf trying to revive it and it is not that we cought 10 fish and the guy's are jigging them by the numbers sometimes it is great to have a fresh fish on the braai, call me a lier no problem but that fish put food on the table for at least 4/5 households. Hi Dwayne the fish was exhausted and there were no big pools to revive the fish added on, the light house was buzzing with shark's so if Garrick were released the sharks would of taken it out just before the fish was landed we discussed the matter and decided to keep it however it fed a few families .
