    Please do archaeology. It’s actually really really profitable to search tombs. I give my sims a tent it helps. You get artefacts mailed to you to authenticate and you get like 3k-4k every few days

    The Herbalims skill takes SOOOO long to max out and the aspiration from Outdoor Retreat is one of the hardest in the game, IMO. I imagine it was easier to do before Seasons came out, but now, because so many of the plants are out of season all the time, it's really hard to get the supplies to make the remedies.

    I think it would be a good skill for a spellcaster. I never thought about this skill until I watched this. I'm going to make a spellcaster herbalist. But I'm gonna cheat the ingredients from the gallery because I can't be bothered to look for all that crap.

    I think that they created this skill to be difficult to build so you have to rely upon the books. Because most books are useless, because doing most skills build the skill faster. So, they want you to use the books. My theory seems to make sense?

    • @markdicristofaro904
      @markdicristofaro904 Год назад

      Well, the lack of nectar books might have been an oversight on the creators part. Or maybe they haven't gotten around to creating the books. Who knows?

    • @markdicristofaro904
      @markdicristofaro904 Год назад

      Well, that's why I labeled it as a theory. A theory is not a proven truth. It's only someone's idea. But I gave some facts and evidence that I possess. Which is how a theory starts, and then people bounce their thoughts and evidence off of each other to come to an educated guess or a factual truth. So, you have stated that my theory makes no sense. Now provide your knowledge, understanding, facts, so on, and so forth, to prove me wrong. I'm willing to entertain your ideas, go for it? Why do you think that I'm wrong, or did you just want to have your uneducated opinion to be posted here?

  • @7mariepierre
    @7mariepierre Год назад +4

    What I personally usually do is that I make my sim a spellcaster and I copy the plants or bugs that I get a load of times to get the herbalism faster. It is one of the most difficult skill to master. Plus, where there is the hermit, you have to go around the place and there is a space with plenty of new plants.

  • @chasem6053

    heyy so I think since it’s a long one you wouldn’t have much luck with it trying to do it all at once because the plants do bloom in different seasons and perhaps it’s the same with the insects ! • @Aurdunoexe
    @Aurdunoexe Год назад +2

    You would have to identify them, click on them in the inventory to do so. You can find Morels, Chamomile, Fireleaf, and more, as well as their poison variants, and the poison variants are much more common. Identifying them let's you gain a small bit of exp towards herbalism, then you need to have bugs from the pack and some other ingredients on you to make herbal remedies on the stove. Basically all there is to it. (Also apparently my sim made a remedy on the grill autonomously so I guess grill works too) I'm kind of a nerd on herbalism irl and want to start a modern apothecary so I find this skill/pack really amazing and kind of realistic (except for the one teensy problem of MORALS HAVE NO POISIONOUS LOOKALIKES IRL Chamomile and a lot of others do tho)

    The bugs are different from day to night and always come in the same spots so u just have to wait for them to reappear and stay overnight in a tent on the lot til u have enough. If ur a spellcaster u can copy pasto and get more always so u don’t run out of bugs.
