Todd is pacing back and forth wondering why yong is still talking about f76 "we sent him the bribe why didnt it work" because it doesnt always just work todd. It doesnt always just work
Guys how did you miss that canvas bag you can buy in the MT shop?....the only problem, it’s like 900 atoms, they don’t even give you enough for the digital canvas bag....no shit....that’s next level trolling from Bethesda
You guys should look at the coding that people have dug up from Fallout 76. Apparently the final boss of the game uses Skyrim dragon assets and anytime you fire a gun you're actually casting a spell with no cool down.
lol, this shit is unacceptable. Also, it seems the final boss "triggers" following the level of the player who initiated the quest. So, if a level 100 psycho (because you need to be crazy to play dozens of hours of a game like this to reach this level) triggers the event, the final boss shows up with 1 quintilion of HP. I assume this is another recycled code, the enemies scales with your avatar... Which is a good design imo, but for their single player games, now for a online experience it's just stupid, lol every time a high level player triggers a enemy, not even he can kill it sometimes. And the reward is meaningless. So, a complete disaster.
That’s what you get when game journalists perpetuating this stupid narrative about "gamer rage". The game companies lost respect for their customers because they see them now as a bunch of children throwing temper tantrums that can be easily satisfied with some cheap candy.
TBH this is a little far-fetched as there are many variables at play, but, honestly, journalists say the same kind of outlandish shit and call it facts as well so giving them a bit of their own medicine is good p
@ Mona Vanderwal, This is what corperate greed can do to an industry. Share holders couldnt care less about the quality of a game, all they care about is maximum return on their investement. That is what Fallout 76 is, minimal outlay costs for maximum profit return. "Make your own fun" because Bethesda cant be assed to actually make a game that is fun with things to do, that costs too much money.
The irony is, canvas bags retail for about $5. Retail...and Bethesda would have been paying wholesale. So for a USD$200 edition, it includes a "glow-in-the-dark" map (~$20), a lightly built, easily broken power armour helmet (~$20 max), and a nylon bag ($1). So for $4, Bethesda is trashing its own brand badly, and leaving itself open to charges of fraudulent behaviour. In Australia, the game is "not fit for purpose", and the bag has been falsely advertised, leaving Bethesda open for legal action. I love your clip of the monkey board meeting...sums it up perfectly. What were they thinking???
@@unsuspiciousdweller8967 Unless you can see the future you have no idea if whatever company you have on your tongue will turn greedy and lazy. @Tired of being jewed As far as i know EA has to be together like STEAL "EA". Regarding to your childish 50cal. bs, i love 50cal. ammo, i love it so much that i eat it.
This was the moment I finally decided I was done with Bethesda. They’re going to have to work their asses off to change that decision. I don’t care what new games they might bring out, I want nothing to do with any of it at this point.
ZaVe Ares your calling a game trash that isn’t even out yet so negative I’m not saying it’s gonna be good couldn’t be bad yes but when has Bethesda ever brought out a bad elder scrolls game ?
Ruin Johnson is still worse, right ? Did Todd Howard come forth and started insulting fans ? Did he say there was no fair criticism to his game ? He has to step up his twitter and interview game to be in the same league as Johnson the fool.
They could have potentially turned this in to their advantage; if they offered 20 000 Atoms (equivalent to $200) to anybody who has a "Power Armor Edition" till end of a year (it's not like they are offering actual money), they might even sell few extra of those "Power Armor Editions" and end up as nice guys (or at least much nicer then what they end up now). And on top of that, everybody who has a "Power Armor Edition", would play just a bit more of this shitty game and who knows; might even actually buy some Atoms for real money. But nooooo.... let's give them minimal possible amount of Atoms and make our self look like even bigger idiots.
GodhandPhemto , that's POTENTIAL revenue. Meaning they could make it, not that they will. It's like if you are selling something, say a cup for $4, but you bought it for $1. If you accidently break one, you don't lose $4. You can't gaurantee that amount. You lost the cost you actually spent on it. I guess if you made it, you'd have to take into consideration labor, etc. But for the sake of this argument you didn't. And if they are worried about potential revenue, further alienating their customers like this would lose them not only the $200 of potential revenue they thought they could get from them, but the revenue from all the people those customers influence not to buy their game
That is now my stance as well after being refused a refund on this piece of shit game. Bought Fallout 1 and 2 twice, Tactics once, Fallout 3 twice, New Vegas twice, Fallout 4 once, Elder Scrolls Arena and Daggerfall once, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim twice and this is the straw that broke the camel's back. Enough is enough EA, er I mean Bethesda!
Hello every game developer you have been permanently placed on my I'll wait until I can see it myself thanks list. I'm not planning on doing anything about it.
>Take a gun. >Target practice. >You make a few good hits while missing few shots. >Suddenly the gun slips, while you are still holding the trigger. >You realize you've shot your toe. >To make the pain stop you decided to take several shots at your entire foot. >...That's Bethesda.
I saw someone on reddit point out you can buy bulk canvas bags that look almost identical to the one advertised WITH custom logos for 3-5$ each. A company that made $750 Million the first day Fallout 4 was released couldn't find the materials for this though.
You missed the most sinister part of the 500 atoms, they purposely made it 500 atoms specifically for the intent that it couldn't buy anything and really all it's meant to do is entice players to spend their own money to actually get something "worthwhile" with atoms IE "Oh look they gave me 5 bucks I might as well spend the 10 bucks extra to get a power armor skin" So in a sense it was a double f***ing, "ha you didnt get the bag we promised, heres 5 dollars of ingame credit that cant buy anything I know your dumbass is gonna spend the 10 bucks to actually get a skin with our credit"
$5 that cost bethesda $0. I hate that move so much. They could have given out $200 of Atoms, which would still cost them nothing, (maybe the loss of sales from microtransactions that a percentage of the people would have bought) and it might have made the CE customers happier. Which might I say again, would cost them VIRTUALLY NOTHING! Such a stupid move...
You are missing the point of my comment. I dont want atoms either man, i think it's fucking stupid. I was just saying that it costs them nothing anyways, so the fact that they gave out $5 worth instead of $200 or whatever, is just stupid. it would cost them the same thing, but could provide better PR. It was just a stupid move in general.
It should be able to regulate itself but people are too stupid to think about what theyre buying- weve got to a point where we gamers as a whole accept half complete games at full price. Its pathetic thats how its become
@@sdmfbastard i agree, but im so tired of fan boys backing everything these companies do. Gamers tend to be suckers, just look at the Tat that is sold with games, not to mention the qaulity of peripherals sold as "premium" products, the PC world is no different, slap the word "extreme" on a product and cover it in led's then charge twice the price for what effectively is a piece of crap.
If it takes world wide government regulation to fix the shitty business practices that have become common place then hell yes. Regulation and oversight are often times necessary, because humans are naturally greedy little pieces of shit.
The saddest part Is if they had communicated the change in the bag material ahead of receipt we wouldn't even be talking about this. @@ayoCC Lmao. This is literally false advertisement. You cant offer one thing then switch the product out. Also, do you know anything about basic materials. Nylon is extremely bad especially when compared to canvas.
@@drsyndrome3486 Nylon is not 'extremely bad' where the hell did you pull that from? Majority of modern military equipment is Nylon. I dunno, this may be below EA. They have both royally fucked up but holy shit did Bethesda go long on this one.

Read the code yourself, it's all there.
lol, this shit is unacceptable. @Mona Vanderwaal Dont forget SE FF15.
Dejan Kober u said it best brother
thats $200 of potential revenue lost, they want that MTX money, the more they give the less you buy later. Greedy bastards.
These companies are in the business to make sense.

I saw someone on reddit point out you can buy bulk canvas bags that look almost identical to the one advertised WITH custom logos for 3-5$ each.
A company that made $750 Million the first day Fallout 4 was released couldn't find the materials for this though.
They should have looked on Fallout Nexus. There's material bats for that.
You missed the most sinister part of the 500 atoms, they purposely made it 500 atoms specifically for the intent that it couldn't buy anything and really all it's meant to do is entice players to spend their own money to actually get something "worthwhile" with atoms IE "Oh look they gave me 5 bucks I might as well spend the 10 bucks extra to get a power armor skin"
So in a sense it was a double f***ing, "ha you didnt get the bag we promised, heres 5 dollars of ingame credit that cant buy anything I know your dumbass is gonna spend the 10 bucks to actually get a skin with our credit"
Zohkine who wants atoms dude? Nobody wants that garbage ppl want their money back for this shit game.
You are missing the point of my comment. I dont want atoms either man, i think it's fucking stupid.
