I'm a huge fan of Milwaukee cordless tools and own many of them, however not "all" are great. I bought and tried the "Red stick" digital level. The first day I used it I had it leaning against the exterior wall of a house. It was sunny about 80* when I went to use it again it had shut itself off and a message that said something about overheating auto shut down. Well, that's not gonna work for me. I work outside year-round and the heated clothes sound cool but as I get older (59) if it's that cold I don't want to work like that anymore. I now know why "old" people move to Florida LOL
Im a handy man and started my milwauk collection in 2014. I got a great deal on a large combo pack that had many basic power tools. I wasnt sure of the brand since the red color and light weight of them made them look like toys. So far 8 years later i still have and use all the tools. And batteries all still work. I m amazed at the reliability and performance.

If I had to switch it would be, DeWalt. All the new power tools that Milwaukee makes is so exciting, I buy a lot of their newest tools. Life is better and way more easy with Milwaukee cordless power tools. Milwaukee owns all Ryobi tools too and I've got a huge collection of those to for home hobby's usage .😲😲👍👍😜👷👷👷

Milwaukee is an amazing tool line, where they F up is back in the day when I was starting to look for my tool line Milwaukee was twice the price as DeWalt. Now they are very comparable, if I were starting over again Milwaukee would be an option but for the fact that they have been stubbornly unable to move to higher voltages like the 60v flex batteries. Now when the power stack technology hits the 60v flex volt you better watch out Milwaukee, that’s game over. The pack out is by far the SHIT! Nothing comes close to it, I would probably go with the entire tool line of tools just to be able to utilize that pack out. So I’m a DeWalt tool guy that uses pack out and whenever I need a tool that specialty tool that I’m only gonna use on occasion and DeWalt doesn’t make it I hit the Ryobi brand. Affordable AF! I almost pulled the trigger on the Milwaukee expander Pex tool bc DeWalt has been out of stock like FOREVER on them but I just couldn’t justify 3 charges in my setup. I got nothing but respect for Milwaukee quality but DeWalt won my wallet, and trust me! Thousands of dollars worth of tools, batteries for days!!! The yellow and black looks so sexy in that red dress 🤣 pack out bitches!!!
Little update on my comment, went to HD bc I was curious on all the Milwaukee deals going on. I held the 12v impact driver and it literally felt like I was holding a gigantic dildo! What retarded ergonomic! So I was still curious bc I don’t own anything 12v I went to Lowes and picked up the DCD701! Then I picked up the DCF801 and WOW! They fit like a glove! I need to take these babies home with me, NOW! By far my two favorite tools, why have I never considered the 12v line before is a huge oversight on my part. Again! LOVE the PackOut but ONLY STUFFED WITH DeWALT TOOLS IN IT!
Milwaukee/dewalt both run off of the same voltage. Around 18v under load. Dewalt claims 20v cuz that's what the battey is when not under load. It's the same w/Milwaukee... Milwaukee is just honest about it

i had the heated jacket, it was like luke warm bath water at best. dosent get warm at all.
