- Its time to see who can get to the highest level! We decided it was about time our husbands, dad, and guy friends all learn and understand what period pain feels like! We all have to deal with the period cramps, pain, etc. every month , now its the guys turn haha! We tested it first on the girls to see what their reactions were to the pain, lets just say women are tough cookies! Where did you guys get the device from?
I would describe my period pain as someone sawing a barbedwire wrapped crowbar through my abdomen. I'd love to hear other people's descriptions.
Not to mention the fatigue, the constant feeling of having to go to the bathroom, the pms, etc...there are so many other variables that make the pain that much more difficult to function with. There is only so much that this machine can simulate, but still, a fun experiment to see how the guy's perception started and shifted before and after.
I love Dakota just peeking around the corner nervously watching Asa. Then I love his reaction to it. Dakota and Asa are hilarious.

Period pain can include MUCH more than just the cramps. Cramps, feeling very nauseous, weak, back and head hurting, actually vomiting, body static tingles, diarrhea, hot sweat flashes, are things I had before, a few times I had all of these at the same time for about an hour at a time, and it was the worst physical pain I can imagine!
The two girls probably already know about period and what goes with it but they’re only focusing on the pain part 😊

Do you have endometriosis too? That’s what would happen to me. I had 7 surgeries and the surgeries were less painful than my periods.
I started getting backaches 2-3 years ago and sometimes I can’t tell what’s worse, the cramps or my back. I’ve def had a lot of the other symptoms too and it really sucks.
I ended up in a hospital 3 times as a teen. My body temperature was like 35C something, I was dehydrated, my sugar levels were up, I was puking and my fingers were cramping and stiff.
When your dad said it made him want to hunch over, I felt that deep in my soul 😅😂

I really liked the way their father explained his opinion and compared it to another pain that he's felt before. Also the fact that he acknowledged the struggle of experiencing period pain in everyday situations.

This was the best period simulation video I’ve seen yet! I love that the ladies did it, because we actually got to see how well they took it vs. the guys…it’s like they are used to it or something…lol! Awesome video!

The thing is, as least for me, it's not just pain. It's like an intense dull ache that makes you feel hot, sweaty, weak, nauseous, sometimes dizzy. I never know how to compare it to another pain I've felt, but on the worse days, I can't think of anything or relax at all because I feel so horrible.

For like 2-3 days, I don’t want to leave my bed. It’s like death crawled into my body and sometimes being upright and walking helps, but overall, it’s a brutal time.
I haven’t gotten cramps in a few months but they hurt moderately bad when I was sleeping. I tried using s heating pad but I wanted to lay down instead. After loosing sleep I finally took Tylenol.I noticed it’s easier dealing with cramps during the day when I’m distracted working. But one time I was walking to the bus stop I had bad cramps I could hardly stand it.
Did you know that Spain recently approved menstrual leave for women who experience really bad period pain? Just like you showed in the video, it's really hard to get things done when you're in so much pain so I'm so thankful for this new law that recognizes that!

It’s cool to see your husbands trying out the simulator. Period pain for some women is a horrific nightmare. Fortunately I’m not one of those people who experience cramps while on their period. Must be a huge blessing in disguise on our part.

I am the same! I don’t experience cramps, thankfully. But I do get a lot of other symptoms like hot flashes, nausea, dizziness, stomach issues, headache etc..
I’m kind of the same I have gotten cramps but since summer. I don’t usually get cramps last time they happened at night. I sometimes get headaches from pms breast pain and acne.

My cramps definitely go from 7 to 10. If im struggling with back pain it goes over a 10. Proud of the boys for trying this out.

@@nellyls7872 it reduces pain signals going to the brain and spinal cord, so provides some relief from muscle and nerve pain. I also use it a little differently than this video, like not on my abdomen, but on my back, neck, and shoulders mainly

I use to have the WORST period cramps. After being in active labor with my daughter, I realized they were so bad they literally felt like contractions!! However, ever since giving birth, my period cramps are like nothin. So it can get better over time!

Before I had kids mine were also at labour pain level! However, after having my first it somehow healed it. I’ve never had cramps again only bloating.

I love how open you are about periods, pain etc... Personnaly, my tummy hurt so much but the worst for me are the sudden an*l pain... I feel like many people experience it but it's not really talked about so if you are reading this, you're very recent to periods then, don't worry, it hurt AF but it's normal

This is such a good video, especially since this has become a national conversation at the moment with a pro male golfer handing a tampon to their competitor that was losing, inferring they were "playing like a girl," when in fact we play sports, give speeches, care for other, go to school, work, and become champions on our periods.
