I agree. I think he will have success with pit. I'm not saying Superbowl, but I think a playoff win could happen this season. Has too many good WRs RBs and TEs to fail. The defense will be top 10, that hasn't been an issue.

I’m really not sure this is gonna work to the level Colin thinks. Love or hate Sean, he got 10 more td’s outta Russ than the year prior with the same amount of games played. Now he’s going to tomlin who doesn’t have an effect on the offense and Arthur smith who is known for underusing his talent. This feels like it’s gonna be a disaster and I can already see Pickens screaming at Russ on the sidelines for dirting an easy open ball

Broncos rbs had 5 rushing tds last year. Zero running game. Pittsburgh doesn't need Wilson to be great and deliver A grade qb play. They need Wilson to be above average and deliver B grade qb play. And Pittsburgh has a better run game and better skill positions than Denver.
This is why Colin will always be one of my favorites. Sean Payton is a good friend of his, he admitted numerous times. But as you can see, he doesn't have go crazy on a Russell Wilson take, just to make his friend look good. He has a very reasonable take and kept it moving. Great job as usual Colin.

From what I read elsewhere, the Steelers made Mason an "offer" and he turned it down. The Steelers probably low balled him. Mason was playing for one million as a back up and I doubt the Steelers gave him a decent offer. Typical.

Since when is a three year contract with an out after one year considered a permanent home. A permanent home is joe burrows, Patrick Mahomes or Lamar Jackson type of contract
I respect young Russ and I think PIT had an easy decision for their situation to bring him in. They aren't worse for it, at least. But if you are a die hard Steelers fan, and want to protect your mental health, watch some Russ tape so your expectations aren't too high on what this version of Russell Wilson will bring to your team's pass or rush offense (in spite of last year's statistics). You will need the lead every week and you will need a great year from both the kicker & punter. No BS. Not much different maybe than past years, but just don't expect a level up based on name value and employ a "surely he can't be worse" mentality. He most certainly can end up being worse either right out of the gate as he adjusts or at the end of the year when the games become more important for everyone.

Tampa is just a really low key place for athletes. Look at Evans, in any other media market he’d be plastered all over the place and be talked about every day on talk radio and podcasts but in Tampa he’s just on the side of the stadium.
You can go out into town and see Bucs players all the time and people don’t swarm them as much as you’d think for famous athletes.

I like how Cowterd is talking about kids "dusting themselves off" and everyone has problems. Brady had the support and love of his parents to get him to where he was. To use Brady as an example but then some kid may have had abusive parents or one or both be absent. Asking them to dust themselves off with a comparison to Brady is super tone deaf.
