Came to learn about a specific Robot Vacuum, subbed for the convos with your kitty 😸
The kitties 🐈⬛ have important vacuum opinions
At the 2:00 mark; FYI the Roomba i4+ is not a model that recognizes poop. You need a Roomba j Series for poop detection.
Roombas are incredible on carpets. Roomba also gets all the tiny bugs and corner spider webs. I4 is cool. J5 and j7 are superb.
But, do Asimov’s Three Laws of Robotics apply to cats as well as humans? Or, even more disconcerting, might the vac and cats join forces and conspire against humans engendering a Cat on Roomba uprising? And what became of poor Eufy, trapped forever between fancy sneakers? Also - is it healthy to feed Roomba so much cereal?
Cats are exempt! They never listen😂

robot vacs great for dusting a hard floor that is wide open area, on just one level, when adults goes out to work during weekdays. But if a house has young people or pets that can put all sorts of debris on the floor, robot vacs will just be an expensive tech purchase that is also difficult to maintain and easily break. Imagine a robot vacuum that suddenly goes over a puddle of water, liquid, or food that is particularly wet, it is certain early death to a robot vacuum.
Indeed
Could you review the lupe vs Dyson???
I'll put it on the list
@@vacuumnerds thank you!
Never buy this iRobot products. It is made by a scam company. I bought brand new from an eBay seller. It is still under warranty and it broke down. The support person told me because I didn't purchase it from an authorized seller. So there is no warranty. They told me I have to pay for the repair even though it is still under warranty. Avoid this scam company.
Sorry to hear this. It's pretty common for manufacturers to deny warranty if their products are not purchased through authorized channels. Companies like Sony do this as well.
@@vacuumnerds A friend of mine recommand this product to me and I never know I need to buy from an "authorized" seller. When I downloaded their app and registered the product. I never receive any message from the App regarding "authorized" or "unauthorized" sellers. They accept my registration through their App. Naturally I assume they accept the product with warranty. Had they warned me about "unauthorized" seller, I would have returned it immediately, as eBay has 30 days return windows. The company provides the App and save every single activity along with its serial number in its database. They have 100% records how the product has been used!
"If you have mostly carpet in your house, maybe a robot vacuum isn't quite the right choice".
I don't think you know what you're talking about. I have been using iRobot's Roomba vacuums since 2008 (500 series onward) and they are excellent on carpets. Maybe you should consider not reviewing robot vacuums.
A robot won't do nearly a good a job as a regular vacuum on carpet. They perform better on hard surfaces. You will definitely get some dirt off the top, but they don't have the capability to agitate carpet pile like a tradtional vacuum.
