"He didn't wanna overpower that one, he just sat back and stroked it to the outfield". I never EVER thought of this when I was 16 playing this. When you made a player, it would always announce them as, "The 3rd baseman, or the center fielder, or the pitcher". was great for it's time.
What made this so much fun was also the commentary from Jim hughson. Me and cousins laughed so much when ever retired a batter.

It was is a great game. Played well, was smooth, and the create a player and team was THE BEST. STill FAR better than nowadays.

The jump from 99 to 2000 was absolutely insane at the time. Had so much fun with this one.
