Martijn, really love your reviews! Regarding the pedelec aspect, I also live in the Netherlands and I get the sense that as long as you don't go super fast in the city, the police doesn't even look at you twice... Have you ever heard stories of someone being stopped for riding a pedelec and how much a fine would be?
My ADO 26 just arrived. £791. Phone mount was broken Rear light was not put into box left pedal had defective thread and was unusable Kick stand was missing the bolts I ordered on Banggood, and it was delivered to me in Scotland within 18 days, the bicycle is smooth, but not particularly well-built, nor was it well-packaged. It is a cheap bike.
@@50centalberto I don't know. I bought it for my mum. The furthest she rode was 12-miles in one charge, and the battery dropped to 40%. She uses maximum peddle assist mode.
@@TECHFUN-nt9fq The battery gives about 20 miles unassisted. If you use pedal assist, it gives 30 miles. It's a decent bike. The welds are good. The gears are a bit cheap, but they do the job.
I have the A20 and the components look very similar, the rear light, saddle and handle bar tightening bolts are cheap and constantly need re-tightening. I even used "Lock-tite". But overall, a good solution if you don't want to spend 3000 euro.
If you limit the current to the motor to 250w in the “hack” part off the menu and do not "hack “the bike to exceed 25 KM/h why would it be illegal? In normal part of the menu of the display you cannot excide the top speed. And then it would be legal. I have an China electric ebike delivered with a 350 watt motor and nice of them configured with a max speed of 25 km/h. I configured the max power back to 250 watts and there is no police officer who will have an issue with it in NL.
Good review. It's hard to get support and maintenance when something goes wrong with this bike. It's a really good price but is Chinese... In the end, you get what you pay for.
These cheap Chinese ebikes are not very good long term as the battery are not branded (Samsung, LG...) and could explode in the long term. Please review proper ebike by reputable brands not cheap Chinese
I think you mistaken sir. Martijn only reviews products from quality Chinese brands. Also the quality of Chinese tech over the last decade has improved drastically
@@ziyaadmahomed2060 if there is no branded battery 🔋 from Samsung, LG... DO NOT buy the ebike or eScooter as I have heard they can explode after a while. Cheap Chinese batteries is a complete no no.
China makes all of Samsung and LGs products, are u that ignorant ? and if the battery doesn't last, get a new one maybe? Or upgrade. Stop spreading nonsense

1.25 million euro medical costs fine when in an accident.

You still have the bike? What is the real range on one charge?
