@@SarahBurnsStudio in Northern Norway we call snow that comes april/may "melting snow". Meaning we need this new snow, to melt the old one. 😄It's just hard to remember that spring is coming, when we get more "melting snow", then what's left on the ground.

Colorado had a lovely couple days and I managed a hike and a visit to the Denver Botanic Gardens. I got a little mediocre art journaling done from the experiences. The act of capturing -even somewhat poorly-in my art journal brings me so in the moment and is so peaceful. Loved your video.
Oh my gosh, that brings me back! I basically taught myself watercolor at the Denver Botanic Gardens! I went almost every day and painting in different spots and just explored and experimented. It was perfect for keeping my interest

aw man, that snow at the end lol you poor thing! i'm sure it'll be more sunny days for you soon! we're already dipping our toes into 90 degree weather here in the southwest, and practically every day is sunny! but sun through my east window into my studio area is always precious, and the setting sun through the west window is just as beautiful and incredible.

Oh wow that’s a lot of great behind the scenes footage. Okay I am amazed that you print your own prints! How did you decide to print your own instead of having them done at a printer service? I guess the price is lower/cost effective if you do it yourself. Plus you have more control over everything. I have got to seriously do some research on opening up my own Etsy Business, do a RUclips video, or even just selling my artwork. There’s so much to do getting to the next level of doing art full time. This is definitely a wonderful & inspirational video. I am still working on getting my painting skills to professional quality art. But this gives me hope towards doing it. Thanks for sharing this with us.
If you want to do those things, it’s good to plan, but it’s also good to just start. You’ll never be perfect, so don’t try! (This is something I remind myself all the time…easier said than done!)

@@SarahBurnsStudio The way the frame tv works is you can buy pictures through an app on the tv, or you can upload your own photos. I don't know how they select what's available on the app, but there are a lot of digital images listed on Etsy that are formatted for the frame tv. You can do a search on Etsy for "the frame tv art" and see what comes up.
Hi Sarah, just wondering what brush you are using at time mark 2:13 in your studio while painting the sky. No handle looks like an oil brush but I would like to try something like that with my first wash of inktense blocks from derwent. Thank you, Heath my artwork is on IG @photosbysnow

Have you ever tried the 'watercolor' printing paper for prints? Then again your photos instead of scans may simulate more texture than the paper.

It's a Liquitex Freestyle 4 inch. I have 4, 6, and 8 inch and they are my favorite!
