I'm so glad this video helped. I didn't know if I should do a video about making this or not. I love my new feeder. I think it really proves Jason knows me well. Thank you so much for being such a blessing to us.

Thank you for your great info & warnings. We use way more sugar to water & we have hundreds of hummers. They somehow suck every drop. We soak the feeders overnight with bleach water & refill next day. We usually have 4 - 6 feeders all year round in our moderate temp area. When we get an unusual hard frost we tape Hot Hands Super Warmers to the feeders. ( Amazon). We have a bight light on the feeders in case they need to feed at night during a cold snap.

We use lots of sugar & they suck up every drop. But we also have a big water fountain right by the feeders so the hummers can get a bath & get all the hydration they need.

Oh. So he can be sweet, hunh?! 😉 But seriously, that is a loving, thoughtful gift. And it is beautiful. What is that bush/tree behind the one at the beginning of the video?
Love the gorilla tape idea!! The ants are gangster this year. Have a wonderful weekend. Stay safe. ♥️🙏

😂 Yes, he can be very sweet. The bush is a Tamukeyama Japanese Maple. They are super expensive so I'm so glad it was here when we bought the house and we didn't have to pay for it. 🤣

So what? I use a little hummingbird concentrate liquid along with my sugar and water mix. It works out great, and stretches out the liquid. It lasts quite awhile too.
