You can make that same argument for tons of other activities. Plenty of people can eat unhealthy foods and it doesn't negatively impact their life while other people become morbidly obese. It's all about moderation.
I am even more inspired by you to be more openly resistant to alcohol consumption. I concur with you and also don't need it in my life as well. People use it as a way to self medicate for various physical and mental disorders...
God delivered me from drunkenness' of all sorts. when i accepted Jesus Christ, repented and became a born again Christian. if you want something out of your life, Jesus will take that away. the Holy Sprit convicts us, and we must listen to that.
