I didn’t think of it at first, but one day she was out sick & asked me to help teach the kids in her place. She told me to teach them the way I thought was best. Wow, still as impressive as the day I first saw it. I remember my mom (who, of course, was interested in educational cartoons for me) being very impressed as well. Rob Paulsen is one of my favorite cartoon VAs, and this was a shining example as to why. Amazing talent.

Neko -chan It was actually cancelled because it was too good for children. I'm serious. They were getting too many adult viewers and not enough kids. This is a problem because the advertising on a kids show is aimed at kids, which doesn't work as well and thus generates less revenue when an adult sees it.

Robert Paulson (the voice actor, not the character in Fight Club) not only voiced Yakko for Animaniacs, he also voiced Raphael in the original animated ninja turtle series (Cory Feldman voiced Donatello in the original film). Awesomely enough, several years ago he was in an interview and someone brought up this song. He hadn't sang it in nearly a decade, but was able to recite it completely on the first try.

This song was actually written by one of the creators of Batman animated series in the 90s. He was helping his son with his homework when he discovered that geography was rhyming. He wrote it down and gave it to the creators of Animaniacs. After all, he couldn't use it in the Batman series.

Robert Paulson (the voice actor, not the character in Fight Club) not only voiced Yakko for Animaniacs, he also voiced Raphael in the original animated ninja turtle series (Cory Feldman voiced Donatello in the original film).
Awesomely enough, several years ago he was in an interview and someone brought up this song. He hadn't sang it in nearly a decade, but was able to recite it completely on the first try.
