I don't know how you play but I never go into a match looking to get player kills.

Dude I don’t even have a pc that can play EFT but I’ve watched every one of these videos and by now I’m so invested in watching you make every life or death decision it gets intense. Based on your lessons I can even know what went wrong in real time when you get a little loot greedy or push without info. Anyways I’ll be watching tomorrow! Thank you.
I got the game after watching people play Tarkov. I've never been into watching other people play, I'd much rather play my self but Tarkov is that type of game where it is entertaining to watch others play. It's a good way to learn no doubt but it still doesn't fully prepare you for the real thing because when it hits the fan all that you've watched goes out the window lol.
I tell you from my experience playing as a rat... because I'm low level. It's scary to play eft, you really get sweaty hands, a bit too immersive.
The sound when you play is more accentuated than what you hear on the videos.

@@10xWhiteMamba Building a gaming PC is a good decision even though it may be a bit pricey if you go for decent hardware. As far as game library goes nothing beats the PC. That's without even factoring emulators.

Love these uploads. I've been improving with your tips, building confidence to stop waiting on those scav runs. The new update has reduced my session wait time by minutes. Usually only 2 or 3 now instead of 5 to 8
pro tip for new players always check a armors health if it is less then 50% of the total armor value bullets will pen at a much higher rate. dont be that guy who bought a gen 4 for 40000 with 16 durability.

Karma is an honorable Tarkov streamer. Doesn't edit out all his deaths like so many others. Doesn't complain about dying unless there is a legit reason like the lag death towards the end of this video.

I've been waiting for this upload after watching this live-streamed, as it was SUCH a remarkable stream! The amount of support that was shown was AWESOME! Between the crazy amounts of donations, to the subscribers, to the record viewer counts, I loved seeing the support for one of (or THE #1, imo) the most informative Tarkov/Squad content creators out there. The way that every decision is vocalized, every mistake and win scrutinized, is SOO helpful to new players and Tarkov vets alike.

Love this series, good luck on your raids and keep up the great work! :) As for "VDV" in the scav's last name: VDV is the abbreviation for Russian Airbourne Forces in cyrillic. The troops wear blue berets and are usually pictured in all those memes about drunken Russian military, 'cause of the havoc they usually cause on August 2nd (Paratroopers' Day) (when they indeed get drunk :)) To serve in VDV is considered an honor by many though, so that scav was basically flexing with his nickname :D
i am two years late to this series but i love how even 5 episodes in you still say the simple things that are missed by all levels pf players everyday
man this series has taught me more about this game than anyone else on YT. Been playing for about 5 days now, made good money sacvving but my PMC raids have been pretty weak, only survived a few, but got a good one off today after watching 1-4 of your series and using your tips, killed three PMC and a scav or two and made it out. Also big props to the FAL, it's been my favourite weapon in all games since the G3 in BF2 back in the day. I have three saved in my stash waiting for flea market (im lvl8) so i can get them specced up with scopes and M80.
M1A is a more cost effective gun with how you can set it up. m80 is great, but now all the thicc bois are running slick armor and that armor eats m80. Just FYI
@@leecaldwell1029 as a level 8 it's pretty hard to get any ammo with good pen, m80 and PST gzh for the mosin is all I got.
@@TheRealUnconnected you can get m61 and m62 from caches pretty easy. you will level to 10 fast. so just keep looting and doing tasks. then worry about PMC killing.
I stayed away from most fights when I was early unless I could kill someone who didnt know I was there. scoped mosin is great for that rat life.
@@leecaldwell1029 yeah for sure, I have been focusing too much on scav runs so I have a lot of cash but low XP. Shifting to scav killing and rat loot as PMC now to rank up. Hopefully flea market in a few days.

Love these vids Karma. Some of the best ones you’ve ever done. As a newer Tarkov player I am not familiar with what you are talking about when you reference areas on the map like “the L”. If you could bring up a screen shot of the area of the map you are talking about in that moment, like down in the corner or something, that would help a lot. Thanks bud and keep it up!

Karmakut, at 6:28 when you came up on that squad of 3, they didn't noticed you. It seemed liked the wrong idea to engage based on your current position, they're position (two members being in concealment when you initiated your attack), and the amount of time you accessed the situation. You talk about survival being the most important thing and you engaging them at that very moment seemed counter intuitive to what you recommend in terms of survival. I'm a new player, just 4 days in, so I'm not trying to tell you how to play, I'm just trying to learn and understand why you did what you did there. Would it not have been better to pull back and possible come at them from another angle or even just stay down and let them move along until they passed? Any tips or pointers in this situation would be appreciated. Thanks for posting these videos. They have helped me out a ton.

As of now, I suck at tarkov. I'm learning, and my pvp is about 50/50 whether I'll win or lose, but I almost always end up dying to something else like a scav or blood loss immediately after a fight. One of the first things I learned is to not be greedy. If I escape, which has only happened twice as of now, and both times as a scav, I'm happy. It's a little bit of loot, and I didn't lose the stuff I came in with.
I don't even need the info in these videos, they're just entertaining to watch.
I got the game 3 days ago and joined up with three other friends... having a four man squad sweeping angles and covering while bounding across open streets.... then you hear the boom boom of grenades or distant gunfire...
All the effort just so you can get out alive with a drill and snack bar you need for a mission task..

One day i was bad at playing tarkov. And now after watching the first few videos of this series I am still bad. But thats my lack of skill and playing outside of my skill level. I have learned quite a bit from your videos and have become quite invested. I am thoroughly disappointed and excited by the time the video ends. Thanks for the great videos packed with helpful tips, advice and pointers, very clearly explained reasons for doing... or not doing something. Although I get clapped and slapped a lot. The improvement from video one to now is noticeably there. Now just comes the years of practice! 😂
SCAV's usually have nicknames, not second names. VDV is a nickname (russian airborne troops).

Shit, wish I had watched this video earlier this morning. I died in this exact spot because I didn't know anything about Sniper Scav. I even heard him on the roof in the same spot you did when you realized he was up there, but thought it was a scav coming around the corner. Then I moved right to that shipping container to take some cover looking into L, because I heard gunshots, and got pinged by Sniper Scav from behind.
Small tip, use the svd low side mount for things with dovetail mount slots for the fastest ads

The stutters i see when watching eft streams is the reason i haven't bought tarkov yet. Looks super fun but when a death means so much i dont want to be dieing to stutters

Karma, don't know if your chat told u, but that was a scav that u shot at 31:18. He was creeping like that cause scavs do that when there is a player creeping too.

I bought the game around when this series came out. I have a lower end pc and the stutters were quite literally every 4 seconds, rendering the game unplayable. I returned to Tarkov last week and I'm so satisfied with how the game plays now. No stutters in a week!

NoFoodAfterMidnight made a pretty good guide that explains the different ammo types. If you google "NoFoodAfterMidnight eft ammo chart," you should be able to find it.

Regarding "last name VDV" - it is an abbreviation for "airborne forces" in russian :)
You might mention other abbreviations like NKVD, etc.
Those second names sounds more like badass nicknames rather than real second names.

This game always puts me on edge, more so when it's quiet cause you know someone's got sights on you lol
you can rebind the "discard" key for easy item drops when looting

I'm curious how the VSS would best be handled since the drop adjustment seems so extreme. As for the Chad/rat spectrum you fall on. I think Drewski recently said something like "Chads run straight to the gun fire. We're goblins we sneak toward it."
One good tip for players. See if you can be in cover when you start an engagement.

'the financially responsible chad and the confident rat'... i'm neither, i'm just a really bad rat. about half my pmc runs i get killed after about 2 steps after laoding in... get's annoying having to spend about 5 scav runs after that to earn some money to even gear up again (and the downside of being new af and only got up to lvl 6 on pure luck of having 1 quest item ready when i got the quest so can't even access the fleamarket and can't even get out alive on pmc or kill anything at all)
7 Days in for me I didn't get to play as much cause I try and help my wife with our 2 month old. I love the game so far and ca only see it getting better but it's so stressful to me.
