This was my first camera. Not a great fan of the quality anymore since there are better models now (though, i never switched lenses - only had the kit lense). BUT, it was a GREAT lense for getting started on photography and videography. I learned a lot with it and it was a great budget camera for me in the beginning.
I purchased this camera 5 years ago and i still have it because i wanted to have my career in photography and wich couldn't be.. Now the quality of my camera is bit down due to improper care

i was looking to take pictures of skiers, snowboarders and actually had this camera laying around. After doing my research on exposure i feel like the only limiting feature of the camera is the lens It comes with. i think as long as i shoot during the day i shouldn’t have a problem with lighting. Auto focusing with AI servo might cause some issues though with fast moving objects. What do you think?
+Snow J A good lens can make this camera amazing. Have IS and maybe f2.8 if you can afford it. The video is the only limiting thing but photos can come out really well.

But nonetheless, it still destroys my noisy at night iPhone 11 in that sector. However, I always tend to avoid recording on the 1200D because of the indecisive focus and mono audio. However, I’ve heard that when buying a camera with smoother focus for video-making, it’s much better to go mirrorless anyways The camera is definitely outdated so it’s definitely better to get a newer camera with more features but, it’s a decent pickup for really cheap/used as a beginner (for photography)

The 1300d would work well. Personally I'm a fan of the Sony a6000 at that price as it is a lot smaller/portable with a few nicer features and overall a better camera in my opinion.

Definitely not. It doesn't have mic input, the quality isn't amazing, it doesn't have high frame rates etc. You can do a lot better for not much more money

I've never used the 4000d, but I would assume they're very similar (maybe just the megapixel count that varies). But a lens is more important for portraits anyway

I've had some experience with the a6000 and it seemed perfectly fine. Feel free to rent one for a day and test it out but I'm not sure what else is any good at that price range
+DeMix I don't know much about bridge cameras but deciding between them is more of a debate about dslr or bridge. Get the sx530 if you just want to take pics of things but if you want to do some good Photography then yet the dslr

+darryl shahriel I must say it's a great beginners camera but definitely learn how to use it. They can become really powerful when you know what you're doing with it.
Any camera can blur the background, depends how close you are to the subject but ultimately depth of field has nothing to do with the camera - it's all about the lens
@@zawaxe123 After watching a video 📹 on the technical mechanisms I figured the problem was the shutter, I pricked it with a paperclip 📎 and the shutter released, it was just stuck maybe due to cleaning, so yeah I fixed it and it works upto this day
