My teammate and I do something similar. Except we make it fun. At the start of the match we put dark satchels on the extractions. We try to kill the bounty on their way out. If they get by us...dark satchel is waiting for them. 🖤 Then we loot the dead.

I think they should somehow remove the money system at all. Really good players just can take everything every single round and bad players get punished for being bad with getting to use only shitty weapons... And there isnt really an inbetween either
crytek could easily fix this: clash mode should be like SS mode. after bounty gone, all hunters left behind should be dead instantly. this prevents farmers and free kill chaser snipers, silencers....
Also you should dark sight on little red watch towers, they very oftenly contains a buyable red/blue trait that costs 1 event token. You can see them on the map right at spawn (mini dark grey square). Those traits are standing right here in those watch towers even in the regular gamemode. Gotta check if it's on the new map only tho, haven't checked the towers in Bayou yet. (feel free to pin this comment cause this is quality ass intel I'm giving you guys lol)
i love how much hate is in this community lol. people choose rat strats because playing the game normally is a net loss for you in the current state. the net code is as garbage as ever and sub 100 hour idiots like me are somehow in 5 star being placed in full 6 star lobbies agaisnt people with 2k+ hours.
literally, the matchmaking is awful, it's so easy to lose money to people just ratting with the most broken loadouts too. Literally nothing wrong with just sitting about and waiting for the loot if you want the money to play more aggressively without being put into a position where you can't buy anything good

If I take a completely free loadout but for some reason all the bodies have to be burned I end up making *at most* 150 hunt dollars for a win in bounty clash. That's maybe enough to buy a budget loadout and after fighting 9 people for this bounty it just doesn't feel worth it. Yes if I have vulture and no bodies got burned I can make up to like 1.5k I think? but that's honestly a ridiculous expectation.

We got nothing for that at all. If they dont wanna make us earn money with this mode it is fine, but then they maybe should give you free loadouts instead or something. Or make it like shooting range, so you can just shoot people and dont get punished, when the last team waits the whole fight, to just swoop in and kill you, after you did all the work for them, thats neither fun nor a good mode

You can either run out in the wild shoot and get shot or you can play it as a pve game, w/ some extra "spice" as there are other people. This whole "rat" shebang is mostly from people I prefer to refer as "smurfs". From my point of view, you are either a "rat" or a "smurf" there is not much in between as long as Crytek is unwilling to provide any kind of "concept" what they intend with this game. Frequently changing basic game mechanics w/o any reasonable needs on short terms, giving a s*** about people w/ several accounts for what ever reason. I appriciate videos like this, exposing the broken state of this potentially great game, throwing untestet changes in our face like cream pies and have a laugh. Yeah but you can't play the game in bounty clash. Your max reward bounty wise is ~150 if you close out the game in like 5-7 minutes. 150 hunt dollars is a pathetic amount of money for a win. Add on the lack of Solo/Duo bonuses and now you really get fucked. IMO they should make the singular token worth like 300 Bounty so that its more comparable to standard bounty earnings, making it a true high risk, high reward mode. Instead its just a fun high risk low reward mode.

probably gotta blame crytek for making the pay out of this mode so garbage even when you kill 10 people you barely earn anything even with a bounty extract. plus no bonus for solo or duo queue. the rat gameplay makes sense when you blame the game not the player.
