Of course. For record you need also a computer and Ableton Live. And microphone :)

@@VittoriaPersa When you buy Akai apc key 25 the set includes free license of Ableton Live Lite. It's enough to make voice loops. If you want Ableton without buying keybord you may download Ableton Live Suite - the best version.

Very good ..can you use other daws with this controller?
You can but it wont have full integration like it does with Abelton. With Abelton you plug it in and all the buttons are programmed for you. With other DAW's you will need to map most of if not all of the buttons yourself. I don't know for sure but that was how I understood it. I only use Abelton so I cannot test it out.

@@LaTeamRocketII You can use any other standard ableton guitar. Maybe steel guitar is only in the version Ableton Suite.
