Ep.217 Mucking around a Wreck and getting stripped

- We find a wreck, reccy it with the drone and go out for a look and scare the stuffing out of Margarida in the process. Ha, just wait til you see the facial expressions of the toughest girl on earth. Priceless.
We snorkel and catch a nice snapper and BBQ it on the beach. Afterwards, Margarida has a go at the drone since she is unhappy with my excellent drone flying skills (feel free to replace excellent with dodgy) and reckons that she can do a better job. Well she does do an excellent job of entertaining us and her drone skills are not too bad either.
Bad news hits us as well. We get stripped by the local Congresso (authority of the Guna people) who take us for the remaining cash in our wallet so we have to sail back to civilization to check the bank and hope some funds can be had. Luckily the sailing back was awesome with no breakages.

This was when I started watching after the wreck. Loved this time period. Hated when Margarita went for her Portugal visit.

When I worked as a diver many years ago we wore overalls over our wetsuits to protect them from getting damaged.....also found that wearing a hood prevented ear infections

I heard that some reaf fish can make you sick. ( barracuda). Is that true?
Yes, if they contain ciguatera, but Snapper are usually safe while other species like Barracuda are more prone to it, though people to it them, as well.
There is no ciguatera around here...in the Paciifc it si in a lot of places

No, I was surprised, it worked great until it didnt...the wetsuit though broke on the edge soon after

All the gold coins you find when you snorkel but you cannot show them on camera or the government will confiscate them. Also many of the natives used to wear gold and silver penis rings but when they would go spear fishing shrinkage would get the best of them and the rings would fall off.
