- In this video I am taking you through the most important mods I needed to do in order to feel right at home. And to go racing hard enduro. Well, to try race and try finish set races. Everyone has slightly different needs, some are taller, some shorter, some prefer different things in different ways. But here is what I prefer, and what I ended up doing to my shiny new bike! Well, it was shiny before this video. Not any more. You'll see why.

Sherco's are unbelievable value compared to KTMs. I have had a few KTMs and now have my first Sherco ('23 500 SEF). The Sherco is amazing.
I also ride a 701 SM ;-)

Awesome! I’m on order for a new Sherco SE 300 factory. I have 2 Husqvarna TE 250i. One for me and one for my 16 year old son but I’m giving up my Husky for a Sherco.
I’m sure you’ll enjoy it! But watch out, your son might get envious
Were you holding the bike just on the edge of band at 0:21, or did the bike need to clear it's throat? Don't be afraid to give it a good rev when it's warm if you've been riding slowly :-)
We were at the beginning of a ride, and the bike wasn’t warmed up fully. And when you do that, the power band kicks in out of a sudden. I didn’t get to do a few runs up and down a road to rev it a little higher before ...
If your 2 stroke sounds like when it’s all the warmed up it’s too rich that burbling sound at 0:21 a properly jetted 2 stroke will never need to be “cleaned out” once you get one jetted rite it’s like night and day how good they run trust me on this one and try it out jets are cheap

Eric Geboers was only 5'6" Jeff Ward 5'5". You can't be shorter than these racers.
Im about 5'7, but from what I know those guys rode motocross, not hard enduro. That's a big difference :)
@@KRANKiTYou shouldn’t be making excuses like that. Your skills are no where near good enough to be using height as an excuse.Also why re valve the forks as a beginner rider? And no offence if you can finish it it is NOT a “hard enduro”. You are a very low level beginner at absolute best.
Is the sherco heavy??
It doesn’t feel any heavier than it’s competitors
@@KRANKiT I just got a 2021 sherco 300 today with only 15 hours. Feels a lil heavier when picking up. But the power deliver is by far better than tpi.
