Such a wonderful interview, Dear Maestra Sister Thu Le! I especially enjoyed the delightful story about your first performance at 5 years old. My wife and I were charmed by the picture in our imagination of tiny Thu Le with her little guitar being picked up and put on the chair! Then your little legs were dangling over the edge of the chair! The audience must have fallen in love with tiny Thu as they watched that happen! 💖💖💖

What a happy coincidence! While today, January 20, 2024, I visit your interview in which you remember your childhood and more in your Vietnam, Tết arrives, and as you, even if you are far from there, you will celebrate it in your heart: Happy Tết, Thu Le!

It is refreshing to hear the voice of the person behind the awesome music that we hear.
My favorites are your trio sessions at Christmas time because there seems to be great joy and always big smiles at the end.
Your one on one sessions with both Chiara and Stella are quite unique. They both seem to have the same vibrant spirit as you Thu Le. GJ!!!

IT WAS NICE TO LISTEN TO THAT INTERVIEW. THAT MAKES ME THINK THAT, IF THERE HAD BEEN MUSICIANS, IN MY FAMILY, I MIGHT HAVE BEEN EXPOSED TO MUSICAL TALENT, AND I MIGHT HAVE BEEN MADE TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY AN INSTRUMENT, THE GUITAR OR OTHER. TO KNOW HOW YOU WERE INTRODUCED TO THE GUITAR, THU LE, MAKES IT MORE INTERESTING TO LISTEN TO YOUR MUSIC. A WELL-KNOWN PIANO PLAYER (I DON'T RECALL HS NAME) HAD REVEALED THAT, WHEN HE HAD BEEN MADE TO LEARN TO PLAY THE PIANO, HE ACTUALLY DISLIKED PLAYING THE PIANO A LOT. YET, HE WENT ON TO BECOME FAMOUS. A US BORN COUSIN OF MINE HAD BEEN OFFERED ALL THE POSSIBILITIES TO LEARN TO PLAY ANY INSTRUMENT OF HIS CHOICE. TO NO AVAIL. HE DIDN'T PICK ANY. TO ME THAT WAS UNREAL. FOR SURE, I WOULD HAVE PICKED AN INSTRUMENT, AMONG THOSE I ENJOYED LISTENING TO : ACCORDEON, PIANO, VIOLIN, GUITAR, SAXOPHONE, ETC. THE LUCK SOME KIDS HAVE! BUT, THE CHOICE MUST BE THEIRS, ENTIRELY. OR, A SOUR TASTE WILL REMAIN, IN THEIR MINDS, DESPITE SUCCESS. WHEN I HEARD, AS AN EIGHT YEAR OLD KID, MY FATHER PLAY A FOLK SONG, ON A MERE HARMONICA, I GOT DETERMINED TO GET TO KNOW HOW TO PLAY THAT INSTRUMENT (SOME PEOPLE DON'T CONSIDER IT TO BE A TRUE MUSICAL INSTRUMENT, JUST MY LUCK), IN ORDER TO PLAY THAT FOLK SONG MY FATHER HAD PLAYED, IN SUCH A KID LIKE HUMOR, WHEREAS HE WAS, USUALLY, SEVERE (WITH ME, ANYWAY). AND, HE GOT ME A BRAND NEW HARMONICA , FOR CHRISTMAS. NOTHING MUCH. A LOT, TO ME. WHERE YOUR HEART IS, THAT'S WHERE YOUR MUSIC IS, IN PRIVATE. THANKS, THU LE.

Excellent interview looking forward to see your interview as you climb the ladder of success. Expect your family of guitarist will continue to move forward they are good and its a family oriented event.
Your music is professional and rich in tones and voices that your guitar emits. You are a master guitarist. Like some of your subscribers said please return to LA, or NY.
Hopefully, you can also show us some of your compositions, if any, or enrich the young players and learn from your lessons.
Your dad did provide a solid path for you and you followed the lead to become great!
Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center of performing arts are some of the places I expect to see you perform. The best to you and your videos.
Perhaps we'll see you playing with Yo Yo Ma, Midori, Yitzhak Pearlman, Bette Midler in Concert.

I wish the lady made more musical arrangements of her own! Her few arrangements posted on RUclips are so beautiful, and then, improvisations and arrangements is where a performing musician may find his or her own creative fulfilment; after all, arrangements formed some of Liszt's most famous pieces. In my opinion, these online tutorials are a waste of time for a performing artist, as are the "master classes" given to novices. There is a time for teaching (but teaching only good, advanced students), but that time may come when the performer is seventy years old, or so... 😉. On the other hand, posting pieces on RUclips is a very rewarding activity not only because it provides enjoyment to thousands of people, but also because it is an excellent promotion and a very good training exercise, as Thu noticed. Playing known pieces could actually be very rewarding because the audience could hear the difference between the renditions of an outstanding artist and the renditions of the others, most of which are not at all at the same high musical level.

(indefugible entrevista!)
