I’m just some random American. But my great-great grandfather won an honor in the Franco-Prussian War. We have his unit citation framed on the wall. We’ve always been proud of him, and of a link to Germany. Raised our kids to think that way, too. He later moved to NYC. God bless you all.

This should be an unofficial anthem of Land of Prussia within the FRG. Maybe without the Konigsberg part, but nevertheless. It's so cool! There's no need to erase our history to be progressive. We should remember it and know what of it is an example to follow and what of it is a memento.
You know that Prussia isn't a part of Germany anymore, right? It wouldn't really make sense to have a song like this affiliated with Germany, if everything that is mentioned/referenced in it is untrue and fogotten by most people. Even the old Prussian territories have lost every bit of culture after the soviets deported every German they could find.

This should be an unofficial anthem of Land of Prussia within the FRG. Maybe without the Konigsberg part, but nevertheless. It's so cool! There's no need to erase our history to be progressive. We should remember it and know what of it is an example to follow and what of it is a memento.
You know that Prussia isn't a part of Germany anymore, right? It wouldn't really make sense to have a song like this affiliated with Germany, if everything that is mentioned/referenced in it is untrue and fogotten by most people. Even the old Prussian territories have lost every bit of culture after the soviets deported every German they could find.
