As a man with a disability, he can’t be cancelled by his ideological compatriots. I applaud him for supporting border security and Israel’s right to exist, but in his situation, there isn’t much actual courage involved.

I live in PA and I was disgusted by our choices for Senator at election time. I felt we were being given no choice between Fetterman and Oz. I still feel Fetterman is not representative of our state, but I'll take the last couple of policy choices he's made, i.e. standing up for Israel, immigration reform, and not selling out our businesses to foreign entities. I never thought I'd be on his side, but if he actually gets any of this passed, and is able to better PA and our nation, I'd be willing to change my mind.
He also has spoken out on the fentanyl crisis and wants tranq off the streets. Who would’ve thought it takes a stroke for a democrat to finally gain some sense.

I'm not so easily swayed, Fetterwoman is now and always will be a reliable democrat vote in the Senate, regardless of his sudden, centrist facade. I know many union members, all tradesmen, and they are very socially conservative, pro-second amendment, patriotic, etc. but a few (the minority) vote democrat to protect their livelihoods. Fetterwoman cannot truly relate to them, since he never worked a day in his life, but he may realize the more the democrat party drifts left, the better chance union members will abandon them, the democrats are actually in a pickle, they're attempting to appeal to sensible people and the lunatic fringe, that's not sustainable. Remember too, John's wife is a rabid leftist.

I wasn’t a Fetterman fan, and still have reservations but when he said, not the smartest people are voted into Congress, I developed respect for his honesty.

I was very disappointed when I saw fetterman voted into his current office. Watching and hearing about the turnaround is gratifying. I remain hopeful for Pa.

27 years ago my dear brother suffered a devastating stroke at 50 years, that put him in a hospital bed for most of a month, unable to speak, or get up and walk.Over the next six weeks or so, he got moving, and though it took him about three years, he recovered amazingly. He must have practiced his guitar with the same mania that he applied 35 years earlier, because when next he visited, driving across country with his blind collie, he could again play the intricate Chet Atkins tunes and a classical Valse Venezolano by Antonio Lauro he had learned by ear from discs a quarter century earlier.
MOST Amazingly, his paintings were Markedly better composed and executed. Seems the stroke had burned away whatever had been distracting him...Definitely seems to have made him able to enjoy life more, as well..

As an Pennsylvanian I'm really shocked how Fetterman has come around. I'm glad he is recovering from his stroke, I would not wish a stroke on too many people. Hopefully he is not playing with us, time will tell.
