my server wont load it just says esx_identity: deferring connection.. any ideas?
@BGHDDevelopment great video bud i just dont have a uniform menu or anything and i spawn as a ped no where near a PD. can you please tell me how to access the Police Stations and join the pd and how to add different options like talk to dispatch mod etc? im new to all this and dont know how to add the menus or mods or even how to actually become a pD. PS i did everything in your video and im running the same zap server
You would need a resource for each thing you wish to add really. Uniforms I use EUP for
@@BGHDDevelopment Where do I install the data packs for five PDF for example LSPD pack etc. I don’t know if I install them in the resources folder or the 5PD folder itself
Worked great, easy enough tutorial. Now, I found fivePD just isn't for me. Do I need to do anything with the databases created with .sql file? In regards to uninstalling that is.
Not really needed, you can drop the database via phpmyadmin but won’t do any harm not clearing it.

How do you set up the fivepd if you went with the TXadmin fivepd zap hosting choice?
If zap is auto installing I would reach out to them for help with it
we only have to do this 1 time correct ? , like after this i can just go straight to fiveM , load my server and fivepd will load right ?

hey! Just a quick question! everything works fine except my cad! i press B while on duty and it comes up, but doesn't let me click, I press tab a few times and it lets me get to the password section and I can type it, but it doesn't do anything, I tried enter, clicking everything
any idea? i see the database
oh also no callouts, but guess that will fix itself when I get setup in the mdt
Try changing the resolution of your game, and callouts don’t work unless your in a department
@@BGHDDevelopment oh sorry, i mean to say i can see everything but it doesn't let me do anything, i just came up with the thought it might be because I'm running essential mode and they have a "users" in the database and i guess so does fivePd, is there a way i can rename one of the "users" categories in the database?
@@BGHDDevelopment I am an idiot! i just saw i can create a separate second db on Zap for fivepd!
the link for fivepd is broken and when i use the file provided from the original site i have nothing inside the fivepd folder. only fivepd and not the .sql file

I got everything working except for the computer. I press B and the computer pops up and it says "admin code" at the bottom and an enter button. Wont let me type anything in, cant click and hitting enter doesnt do anything.
Try changing game resolution.
@@BGHDDevelopment How does changing the resolution allow me to click on a button? I'm only running 720 at 60fps. I'm on a TV, can't change it much more.
Does this work for the TX admin for zap hosting too I know this is a bit old
FivePD has a mysql option still, but can also run SQLite which is more drag and drop.
I followed the instructions as closely as possible but my console returns "could not find fivepd resources"
Try to make sure you set FTP permissions on the FTP page of zap

By default any user can be but I think FivePD had an allow list option
how do you update ftp settings with iceline
You may not need too, you should reach out to them about it

I have done a video on fivepd for zap though I prob won’t be doing more videos on zap as they are not the best.
Duty menu doesnt have uniform option just like yours.
It was removed you have to use a trainer or other menu now
My server is up, but when I type the IP Address into FiveM, nothing will show up. How would I go about fixing this issue?
Contact Zap if you host a server with them regarding not being able to connect

Is there a way to see the log when you start up with zap hosting? Like to see if the resources started correctly.

Check the console for errors, that means something went wrong

@@BGHDDevelopment I purchased a premade server from FiveM store it came with a folder pack of all the scripts and cars (like the live Pd folder ) & a separate database folder I was wondering if I’d install it the same way
That would depend on the author of the premade server. I would ask them for install instructions.

@@BGHDDevelopment I got the servecfg figured out but now I get stuck on “awaiting scripts” every time I try to load into the server. I’ve followed every tutorial I’ve watched and haven’t missed anything, I’ve tried a death script and it just won’t load in.

how to make your fivem server public
For zap its already public for localhost:
To allow friends to connect to your local FiveM/FivePD server you need to portforward the following ports:
TCP: 30120
UDP: 30120
You need to also open 30110 if you want your server to show in the server list.
While we don’t have a tutorial for these ports yet we do have a portforwarding tutorial for MC. You can still follow this and just change the MC ports to the FiveM ports.
