  • Finally finished the first phase of this job that I started a year and a half ago. It was one thing after another that kept me from finishing it. But, it's done now. The second phase is to build these greenhouse pads. My plan is to start on them as soon as the ground dries up enough. Havent had the opportunity to do much filming so I appreciate you hanging around!

    Pretty nice looking truck young man. If it runs as good as it looks you should get some good years of service out of it. That site cleaned up nice. Nice to have a machine like the KOBELCO that dependable for start ups. Thanks for the video, appreciate you taking us along for the ride, enjoyed watching.

    Thank you for posting the video. I enjoyed watching I think what you talk about really adds to the content its great to see the job tidy up nicely. You have had some brutal cold we have had hot weather and humidity that was old fashioned nasty. Anyway good to see your machines working and catch you onthe next one . Cheers 🍻🙂

    Congratulations on the new truck! For the thumb you might think of Ami's LD18 pairing 😂😂😊😊

      Yeah thats a nice thumb for sure. My thumb is a well build thumb and I really like it. But the engineer had a brain fart on not putting gussets in that area. I'll get it fixed (one of these days)!🤦‍♂️

    Glad you got a new ride Sir. Im a GMC/Chevy guy but they all make good trucks. I know it may sound wasteful or strange but a few years ago I started wearing my outside teeth until a little over halfway then putting new ones just on the outside. I get so much more wear out of the rest and you always have sharp corner teeth. digs better and i get way more wear out of them. Do it with my excavator and backhoe. Great job on the project sir, stay warm .

      Thanks Dave! I normally swap my outside ones much quicker than I did this go around. This ground was so stinking hard that i could almost see the teeth disappearing before my very eyes.🤣 But I here what you're saying on swapping those out quicker. Thanks!

    Hopefully, you'll get a lot of years of good service out of the new to you truck.
    I had a shift problem with an 01 Dodge that I had. It turned out to be a bad ground on the grounding strap that is attached to the firewall near where the AC lines go into the firewall.

      I hope so!
      Yeah, I thought the same thing on the ground. The way it’s acting it seems like a ground. Thanks buddy!

      Thanks Charles! Yeah I hope it lasts for a long time. Trucks are so expensive! It’s rained all weekend so it’ll have to dry for a while.

    Is there much sinking of the pit after awhile? Very nice truck!

      @Dirtdaddy953  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, there will be eventually. It's not my preferred method but it's all we could do in this situation with no where to go with the root balls. It'll be many many years before it settles. Thanks Randy!

    Spring is coming and then the dirt work will pick up. I know I’m ready for spring and ready to get going back in the dirt.
    Are you not concerned that the buried wood will rot and sink out over time? I’ve seen lots of guys bury stumps and stuff and have always wondered if that would happen or not.

    • @Dirtdaddy953
      @Dirtdaddy953  6 месяцев назад

      Yeah, I’m ready!
      It will eventually settle but normally takes several years. It’s always my last resort but in this case we had no other option or place to go with the root balls. Thanks buddy!

    Your FORD 6.2 'engine' will BLOW UP! Let me explain, pls! You said it don't get good GAS mileage and if you DO put GAS in that 6.2 - YES it will send a piston thru the fender! (6.2 being diesel won' take GAS!) Sorry, had to sneak that in. That truck, with your maintenance will last YOU quite a long while! Have fun & enjoy! Thanks...

      @Dirtdaddy953  7 месяцев назад

      Lol...I appreciate ya buddy but the Ford 6.2 IS a gas engine not diesel. The 6.0, 6.4 and the 6.7 are all diesels. 😁😜
