Looking from the wall of house around to slope it must be around 45 degrees on that slope. It was a brief glimpse but cant be far off.🙂
I’d say that’d be about right. She was a steep one!
@Dirtdaddy953 👍
Hi mate you have done a great job under the circumstances since it’s so dry thanks for sharing looking forward to seeing more of your videos
Thanks buddy!
It never looks tough in the picture! That drives me crazy!
Yep, me too!
Planted probably 100000 or more tress in my farming career. Got to plant more corn . Your reasoning is destructive and unnecessary.
Gonna have to agree to disagree Dale, but I do appreciate your comments.
I have never In my life seen anybody waste so much time pushing up a few trees. I’m surprised the first trees haven’t taken root by the time you pushed up the last tree
lol, to each their own. Been in business almost 20 years. Can’t always know what’s going on, on the ground by sitting behind a computer screen. But I appreciate your comment.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - I hate to see fence lines cleared of brush and trees - they provide habitat for so many birds and little critters that are part of the eco system as well has knocking down snow and wind and providing shade to cool the cattle and the planet and for storing carbon. I can't believe the local farm bureau doesn't educate farmers on this.
I understand where you’re coming from. However, our area is one of the largest cattle producing areas in the nation. The farmers rely on their cattle to feed their families. In the next video it’ll show all of the ground erosion in that fence row where water was standing. The neighbor was being overrun with varmints, flies and mosquitoes. His house was being damaged by them. This farmer has numerous trees on this property for cattle and wildlife to hide in. However, he was losing ground because of it. Gotta think big picture. Thanks for your reply!
There is no moral reason for such needless destruction of beautiful cedar trees .
@@dalerector8491 I disagree Dale, it’s about the farmer making a better life for his wife and kids.
Invasive trees @@dalerector8491
I' understand why you want the wind to your back. I've been clearing hedge trees out of pasture this fall with my old D6c. Finally had to wrap the exhaust manifold and turbo with screen wire to reduce the number of manifold fires. For a while I was putting one out about every 15 minutes.
lol, yeah it’ll happen for sure. Not to mention I get tired of eating dirt pushing into the wind.
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! I have a quick question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
?
Another interesting video. That ground is dry for sure the 953 knocks the dirt out of the tree roots good. They are a bit tight to push over but they crush up into the heap nicely by looks of it. Thanks for posting. Is it usually dry at the time of year ? The weather has been weird at times down here but our farmer clients have been happy with the season so far. Anyway take care and I catch you on the next one.👍👍
Hey Sam! We’ve been in and still are in a bit of a drought. It’s not normally this dry this time of the year. Yeah, Cedar trees are tough to get stacked because it’s like trying to pile marshmallows. They spring back all the time and won’t stay tight. Yeah, the ole 953 is hard to beat! Thanks buddy!
No worries mate. I enjoy your reply. 👍🤝
Love the loader videos great video buddy 👍
Thanks Willard!
Is that a gun on your hip in that pouch?
Cell phone.
This one has a larger air filter than the regular 372 xp. How is that?
Not sure.🤷♂️

The pond will hold a lot more water now as long as there isn’t a major leak in the rocky bottom. There’s only so much you can do with a pond that has a rocky bottom. The only other thing he could do would be to haul a bunch of clay in to seal the bottom of the pond. Looks like a job well done to me.
I think it’ll hold just fine. But it’s hit and miss in our area due to all the rock. Yeah, I’ve had to haul clay in before to seal them up. Thanks!
I could actually hear the cutting edge on the blade scraping across the rock, that has to be pretty abrasive on the cutting edges. The D6 does a pretty nice job in a clean up situation like this one. Those pulleys could possibly be regrooved, if you have a good jobber machine shop in the area, I know we would regroove pulleys from time to time, especially for expensive applications or hard to get pulleys, we used both formed tools and single point tool to regroove, your shop will know to reduce the outside diameter of pulley to get the belts to ride correctly in the pulleys, just a thought. Thanks for the update, enjoyed watching.
Thanks Terry! Yeah this ole ground is very abrasive on ground engagement edges and teeth. I thought about welding and machining them as well. I need to check and see what new ones cost first. Thanks buddy!
Thanks for the video . The muck pushed out good with the D6 a clean out and dam tidy up was what was needed I reckon. Take care and I catch you on the next one. 🤝👍
Thanks!

hopefully some of those cows will also give you a big thumb (hoof) up

We actually spread lime over the top of our waste lagoons up here in Michigan - helps kill the stink and speeds the breakdown of the waste.
@@jeff-hk8yk Interesting, thanks!
I can't imagine why any varmit would want to burrow at the edge of a waste lagoon - but maybe that's why they are called Musk-RATS!
Yeah, I don’t know either. There’s geese all over them. I mean, you can look in the first pond and see condoms, tampons and all kinds of stuff in there.🤷♂️
Wonder if the limestone was under water if it would mess up the PH of the lagoon. Just curious if it would change it any.
I wouldn’t think so.🤷♂️ The sewage from this pond goes into the plant for final cleaning before being discharged into the creek.
@@Dirtdaddy953 I wouldn't think so either but i was curious.
@@rugerfarming5387 Good question buddy!
It was cool to see you back at the ponds I remember you working there last time. Obviously you have a regular client in that job. I enjoyed you sharing the goings on at the Quarry no different here, in that I deal with the same sort of issues. Its all good we get there in the end 🙂 Any way thanks for posting and take care 👍👍

❤❤❤Good job 👍👍👍👍👍How many ton of rock?
Thanks! About 300ish.
@Dirtdaddy953 nice kept you busy 👍👍👍
@@aussiedirtmover Yep!
Pretty work Larry. Thanks for sharing.
Years ago i worked on a job similar to this Muskrats did the same thing they slowly erode into the banks which would cave in from were the collapsed holes were. Our solution to the problem was chain link fence just below the water level which blocked their best access in digging their holes. It worked very well. As they won't dig holes 4-5 feet under water where the water was deeper. The Chain link fence also helped stabilize the soil below the water level.
Yeah, id say that would work well too. The inside slopes were becoming really steep to mow so placing the rock there was two fold. They've trapped several and even shot a few but they kept coming back. Really surprises that wild life would even be in those ponds. But there's geese and all kinds of critters in them. Thanks for the comment!
@@Dirtdaddy953 well, at least someone got dinner out of the deal.

Beautiful work Larry. You are an artist. Thank you for sharing.
This video went down nicely with my sunday lunch, thanks for posting . That looked like lime rock am I corrrect ? Hard to tell in the video, but will it bind together or will it move around over time with the cattle walking on it ? Certainly puts a tidy finish on the pond . Take care and I catch you on the next one. Cheers. 🍻👍
Thanks Sam! It is limestone and it sounds like they are going to keep the cows out if possible. If they should need to put the cattle in that pasture. There is a shallow portion on the north end where they should be ok getting a drink. That rock will stay in nicely as it locks in tight. Thanks buddy!
🤝👍
Thanks for posting the short. Good to have a quick catch up mate. Cheers .
