It bugs me when people dismiss the injury crisis out of hand by saying "every team has injuries." While it's true every team has injuries, Utds defense has been absolutely decimated unlike any other team. All ETH needs to add to that are a couple of sulking star players (Sancho and Rashford), missing forwards (Martial and Greenwood), a wonky midfield...ugh. I could go on, but you get my point.

      @@robinhowson4292
      1. With thread bare and below average team last season, we got to 2 finals, Europa semi, most played at the WC mid season. We simply played too much football.
      2. The reason top teams, aside from spending to nes of money, have large, quality squads is for exactly the reason I mentioned above.
We let go of plenty players whether loan or sold but they were already not good enough to be at United. On top of that, we didn't replace them. To add to that, we did not reinforce the squad. We had Weghorst as our most "Consistent" forward for the "WHOLE" of last season. He was loaned in, in Jan, he appeared most consistently. Think about that. Then we sent him back and got 1 inexperienced striker! Knowing full well we had to replace CR7, Greenwood for starters, Rashford can't play there. I'm pretty sure a decision was made not to keep Martial so another striker (Hojland) had to come in to be bled in for when he leaves. Nothing came.
      3. Our defense was the best last season with Varane, Martinez, Lindelof, Maguire at the end and Shaw (consistently playing) then in the space of 10 months from end Feb till about October/Nov and now last month or 2, our whole backline, starting and backup was wiped out. Our reinforcements were Evans after lindelof, Varane and Martinez injuries last season. Add to that Kambwala, that's it. That's all. No team manages that.
Liverpool lost VVD and completely imploded. Arsenal lost Partey for a while last year or before and look nothing like a decent squad. 1 key player that is. Our key player is considered to be Bruno, not that I agree but look at what happened against Palace. With all his flaws Palace would have respected us more with Bruno and his unpredictable passing.
      4. Let me not even begin with the midfield.
We saw what happened last season with Casemiro suspensions, Erikson getting injured, Bruno playing over 70+ matches (WC included) and our best hope was getting in mount who had a crazy hip injury last year, Mainoo who ironically got injured on a preseason that we hardly trained but we're forced to traverse almost the entire USA for financial BS, that's what the club wants, not ideal for the manager or players.
So yes, this piece was me talking only about injuries, injuries brother.
Behind the scenes I do agree, ETH needed more support from the guys in charge.
They should have told him, do you really want to sell Maguire and McT? Yes? Okay, we'll get Mount and a defender but if Fred goes we need 2 or 3 more in midfield. Why? We had Sabitzer in, Donny was here, and we performed like a top 4 team, let's improve on those players. (that's what a bleeding director of football and technical director, or whatever fletcher a was, is supposed to be doing. The manager asks for Mount (I personally doubt he wanted Mount aside from having the British quota) you ask him for 4 to 5 more realistic options because you want to improve the club so you as CEO and directors keep your jobs.
He want KMJ, you don't go out and get Evans, no damn way, then add another 2 options.
Me, as a Manchester United supporter, will take a good defense and midfield over scoring goals

Wingers who can’t cross or pass to hojlund. Concede from cutbacks regularly. Don’t mark from corners. Don’t mark from short corners. Let people run past us. Don’t tackle. So he does have one!

I think Hojlund has shown glimpses of what he can do and he did go on a scoring run over a few games a few months ago. Personally I think the teams attacking play in the final third has generally been dysfunctional under ETH over the past two seasons. To me he works very hard chasing the ball down but needs to improve his first touch and hold up play. I know many people say he gets very little service but I'm not sure he's running into the right areas to receive a pass or get on the end of anything. He's a young lad though and could still come good with better players around him. I also feel he's played far too many minutes this season due to Martial never playing and with all the running he does he probably needs a rest.

It’s like everything else, the comfort of working from home requires there to be a percentage of people still functioning at the office. If any company took the opportunity to close its offices, and become a virtual entity, lots of us would start twitching. It would be like your parents moving house and not telling you. More important to United is a review of the so-called pampering and the lack of effort , when/where it exists from the first team to the smallest office.

Business is all about relationships. In Manchester United the relationships from department to department from Manchester to London to the US to the Cayman islands is fractured. From the owners to the management, staff and playing staff to rhe fans ( customers in their view) the relationship is shattered and there's no trust or belief. Weild the ace!

Let’s be clear that the working at home non productive culture is not relevant for every organisation. If an organisation can’t keep track of an employee’s productivity then it’s the employers fault. Plenty of organisations that have adopted to a work at home culture have seen an increase in productivity.

      1. With Ten Hag, Man United lost in their two first UCL's matches, for the first time in club's history
      2. With Ten Hag, Man United conceded 4 goals in one match in UCL group stages, for the first time in club's history.
      3. With Ten Hag Man United lost 13 times at EPL. It worst for Man United at Premier League's era. And the number of loses is still can be increasing.

Antony now looks like a huge mistake. Onana has a mistake in him no doubt (as have all keepers) which is hugely amplified by the shear number of shots at him due to us not having any fit defenders for most of the season.

Yeah Erik’s tactics being rubbish is all down to some IT guy sitting at home on a Friday lol we all know Ten hags job is safe until the end of next season, the club cant afford to to sack him, it’s an absolute disgrace that ten hag is allowed to run the moral of our squad into the ground, treat them like crap, play favourites, speaking lies about them, its a disgrace, no other club in world football would settle for this! There’s plenty of top coaches out there, next season will be dross, if Ten HAg is gthe right man then give him a new 3 year deal! Shut fans like me up!

Can’t wait to see who we’re gonna sign in summer. Evan Ferguson from Brighton for 100m, Ollie Watkins for 100m & some lunatic from a he Eredivisie that nobody’s heard of and is the captain of fucking Gabon or some shit for 70m.
I wouldn’t let Ten Hag run a fucking bath, let alone the biggest club in England. He has absolutely no earthly clue what a talented footballer is.
