Precisely they are not Kpop idols, but a classical crossover quartet. But they moved the agency to Beat Interactive which has their idol group A.C.E. I think the company influenced the styling into more idol-like. Actually crossover can contain any genre including Kpop, Forestella even has an original Kpop dance song KOOL! LOL They can sing whatever. If you wanna try a legit Kpop cover by Forestella, I recommend MAMA (EXO's original).
This is the 2nd part of their trilogy. You can see act 4~6 here. The 1st part was their Save our lives and you can find act 1~3 there.
The theme of the song was like Utopia for human beings might be dystopia for nature. And we need to find a way to co-exist because human beings are also a part of the nature.
In the end of Save our lives- their original song as well, previous of Utopia, you can see the World Tree was growing up. That concept of world tree of life is from Nordic myth's Yggdrasill so their concept and story is also a crossover of the biblical metaphors and nordic mythical symbols.. and they took the 4 elements idea of Aristotle in the Save our lives like each of Forestella is representing an element like the Fire, the Water, the Air and the Earth. Interestingly, their vocal ranges fit the elements for each too.
We can just guess and imagine stories, I think we can get everything clearer when the 3rd part is released.
The composer is a Dutch named Valensia who lives in Valéncia in Spain. Forestella requested him to make an operatic part like Bohemian Rhapsody as Valensia was so strongly influenced by Queen, like to have made Queen tribute album himself. Actually his first demo version of Utopia was named Valéncia, like Barcelona by Freddie Mercury and Monserrat Caballé, a hymn for Valencia. But Forestella changed the lyrics to suit their World Tree and Utopia concept. It's interesting that still we can find some names of local spots in Valéncia, lol.
They had more than 17K takes and used more than 400 tracks for this one song. It took more than 2 months of recording as far as they said. As always they sound better in live, so check out their live performance in Mnet too!
This song is really addictive and became an earworm in my head like constantly.

@lemonrealsqueeze6826 Well, we still never had Snow Globe in live yet! 🥺 When WooRim comes back, nothing can disturb being together like forever! We can share what they have done so far. It's also a lot as they were deligent workaholic geniuses. LOL
@@manaciel many commentors went with White Night being the 3rd part, however if that was the case why we didn't get a similar style music video, unless they closed it differently.. I don't even know now what is part 3.
@@manaciel haha it felt like they would not sing anymore as a group forestella but that be too long... even if they ventured each their own solo paths for the 2 year period.

They are not kpop.. they are a classy international world quartet crossover group sensation!
As someone has already mentioned, they are not K-pop but they can do that style…which they did with their own m.v KOOL…you should react to that one …it’s so fun but I’d like to see what you think. They actually don’t want to be labelled as one genre because they do multiple-genre and multi-lingual performances as you will see the more you react to them. Even us fans are constantly amazed by their new releases because they are so adventurous, daring and sometimes experimental but always give an incredible faultless performances. and you are right about it sounding like opera…2 of them are actually fully trained opera singers!!! The other one with the high voice had no music training and is actually a fully trained chemical engineer and the last one is a musical theatre actor and singer. Their videos are always epic and there are always end credits to wait for. See the comments for manaciel who gives a great explanation about the video and the fact that it is the 2nd in a trilogy.❤I love this video so much
