I wanted to share this with you Lunch break: I always have stories. I went to high school in Long Beach and I went to the so-called black school. It was called the black school because there was little under 10% of a black population while the other schools had 1% to none, we never had a black homecoming queen. A few would make court, but of course our small number we could never ger a black beauty queen crowned. Then one day they gathered our 10% after the school and we reviewed those whom the school had. Of those three or four black girls of a court of about 10, amongst ourselves, we our black princess present, wedecided who it is we would vote for, that we would stick together and everyone would understood the assignement. We pulled it off and put in history the first black homecoming, queen. we were able to do that two years in a row in our high school until my junior year, one of the nominees was not excited that we did not vote to push her through, and therefore she went to the principal. That senior year we didn’t even have a homecoming queen. see that’s what happened in 2016. People weren’t excited about who was blue so they didn’t participate and we got red and it’s been hell every since and so we stand at that threshold because we have that same mentality floating around among our own people what did she do for me, not even considering what he will do to you. I would’ve rode with Biden all the way to the end and I shall ride blue because I have no other choice. It’s simple so that I can remain somewhat free and get back some of the freedom that was taken away. Facts over feelings. I pray we understand the assignment
